Management provides a starter kit of amenities to get you through your first day, including: an extra roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, one extra roll of paper towels, 2-3 garbage bags, sample-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner, small bar soap, 2-3 laundry powder packs, 4-5 dishwashing pods, liquid dishwashing soap, and a single brew coffee pack. Guests will need to provide or purchase additional toiletries and products as needed beyond this starter kit.

Long-term reservations of 14+ days require mid-stay property safety checks or mid-stay cleans, additional trash pickups and hot tub services. Safety checks are at no additional charge. Mid-stay cleanings include linens change, floors, bathrooms and light surface cleaning. Mid-stay services are charged to the guest, and charges can only be added after your reservation is made. Stunning luxurious home with incredible view

The size and location of the home fit a girls weekend getaway perfectly! It had everything we could possibly need. We enjoyed our stay immensely! One request I’d make is a mattress topper (even something optional) for all the beds. They were all very firm. The pillows are all fairly flat as well. Other than that, it was the perfect stay and I would love to return!!

Stunning home, gracious hosts

We booked a two-night stay for a long weekend in the mountains. The house and views are stunning. Exceptionally clean, a well-appointed kitchen with everything you could need and plenty of space for our four adults, teenager and three kiddos. We ran into some plumbing issues during our stay due to the freezing temps but the management company and the homeowners were incredibly prompt in handling and very gracious in making our stay as comfortable as possible. Highly recommend this beautiful property!

Winter Wonderland

Amazing mountain view. Christmas decorations were beautiful. Extremely clean. We enjoy cooking as a family and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything we needed. Just the right size for our family of 6 adults and one toddler. Comfortable living room furniture. Short easy drive to downtown Estes Park. Management company was very responsive when needed. We recommend 4 wheel drive vehicle to ascend the driveway if you are expecting snow during your visit.

Incredible views but some drawbacks

Beautifully constructed home in great location. I can’t imagine a place in Estes with a better view. However, there were some issues that interfered with our comfort and enjoyment of the house. First, the closets that were available for use by guests contained lots of large and bulky items that I can only assume belong to the owners. At first I was told that these items were to be used by guests if needed. However, in the master closet I saw 2 pet gates, 4 pack and plays, a 3’ pile of old looking bedspreads, someone’s shoes, a mattress and other items. This made the closet mostly unusable for us. There was no other place in the house to store these items. There are no dressers in the bedrooms, so we lived out of our suitcases all week with shoes and dirty clothes stacked on the floor. Additionally all of the beds in the house were extremely hard. I didn’t know that you could even buy mattresses that hard. We were sore every morning. The pillows were terrible. I would rate the pillows as Motel 6 or worse quality. There are 4 bedrooms and the house sleeps eight. However the dining table only seated 6 and the living room had limited seating so it was difficult to eat and congregate as a group. The management’s policy of supplying limited toilet paper and basic cleaning products was a nuisance. We had to buy items that are only sold in quantities larger than what would be used during the week like laundry soap, trash bags, counter top cleaner.

Amazing cabin! Sky Run property management not so amazing.

The place is amazing and we had a wonderful stay but there were some issues with property managers. Hot tub was cloudy and when you turn on jets there was 6+ inches of nasty foam. I informed SkyRun. They sent maintenance out and said it was clean enough. I would never let people in my hot tub at home if it was that dirty. Then hot water heater pilot light went out and there was a loud beeping coming from locked room all night. Called 24 emergency # and no response. Called corporate offices and even tried social media to get in touch with someone. They finally called me back around noon and sent someone out. I think we had hot water back around 4PM. Even with the SkyRun problems this place is magical and we had a great time.

Memories Made

Incredible property with an amazing view of the mountains. Overall, we had an absolutely lovely stay and made many, many memories. There are a few recommendations to make the property a little more accommodating. We had 8 in our party and could only seat 6 in the living room, which left 2 people without a place to sit. There is plenty of space for a sectional to fit 12+. Also the current furniture is very unstable and every time reclined, felt like you were launching out of the seat. In addition, there needs to be better signage at the road indicating the entrance to the property. Coming from Estes Park there is a hill and a curve which can be quite dangerous when you’re not certain where to turn. We passed the property up and had to turn around the first time we drove by and had to look closely every time thereafter or we would pass it up. Finally, there was no dresser in the master bedroom to unpack our suitcases so we had to live out of our suitcases for our entire stay. Other than those things, Eldondale is a wonderful place and we enjoyed our stay.

Cozy Cabin in the Woods

This BEAUTIFUL cabin in the woods was perfect for our girls weekend. The house was gorgeous and was equipped with everything we needed. The hot tub was very clean and well maintained. The cabin was very spacious for our party of 8. The property felt very remote but was in close proximity to the Stanley Hotel and other attractions to keep us busy. The views of the mountains were spectacular. Overall, would highly recommend this property.
