“What a super little hotel! Upon arrival, we received a warm Scottish welcome and were shown up to our rooms. It may be the narrowest detached hotel in the world but the rooms aren't lacking in space. The following morning we had a good Scottish breakfast before heading north on our journey.”

“We received a friendly welcome on arrival and our room was spacious, very clean and styled in a contemporary way. The bathroom fittings were new and had very good lighting. Breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed our stay very much. ”

Only 1 bed was made up and room was clean but very dated, and the property and grounds have seen better days and are overall quite scruffy. No TV in room but was told I could watch TV downstairs if I wanted to. The shower didn't work properly - either scalding hot or dribbled out cold water. Sink took ages to drain, noisy radiator. “What a fabulous hotel! We chose Peebles as it was about halfway back home to Wales for us, and after 9 days of hiking - a spa hotel sounded perfect! The fact that such a swanky place is also dog friendly (and TRULY dog friendly) made it even better. The staff were all cheerful, helpful and friendly. “Great place to stay in Moffat's main street. I had a single room with spacious bathroom, kettle with coffee/tea, biscuits and milk in a fridge with bottled water and cola. Comfortable bed and all spotlessly clean. Friendly bar with nice varied menu plus good breakfast. Loads of parking outside. Really enjoyed my stay.”
