“Is this stay worth it? Absolutely. Is it your average experience? No, in the best way. The view? Stunning. The bed? Luxurious. The experience? Unforgettable. Now with all that being said, please read the listing carefully- you have to share restroom/shower facilities unless you book additionally for private. No shoes. Check-in time very particular; must have a mobile phone. You are close quarters with other guests, so keep that in mind if you're looking for a more intimate experience....

“We loved our time at the Gingerbread mansion. Oliva was an amazing host. Breakfast prepared each day was some of the best we have had. Snacks provided at tea time each day were also a big perk. The mansion was such a cozy experience. We loved our time spent at the mansion as well as exploring the town of Ferndale. Hiking and exploring the town made our time there very memorable. I fear future B&Bs may be ruined for me as this was my first time experiencing a true B&B experience and any future...

“Very beautiful hotel, in a historic house of ferndale.room was clean, the bed was a bit small and too soft. Breakfast is served in the main room and there is some choice of hot and cold food. ”

“Love this place… the view and property were spectacular! Service was friendly. Breakfast was good, loved that the kitchen and its amenities were available continuously. Wish we could have stayed longer for the hikes etc. Next time! One thing … maybe note that the road is rough coming in from Trinidad. Our SUV was fine, but in the dark and or my low roadster, would have been a problem.”

“Don't know if there could be a better bnb in Trinidad. Maybe the best bnb we've ever encountered. The room was very spacious and clean. The view of the harbor from our room was amazing. The location is perfect. Tyler is a top-notch innkeeper- incredibly competent and accommodating. We would love to come back and stay here again. ”
