Lumley Castle Hotel
Staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Lovely building - a little wear and tare but a large property to maintain! But overall, very atmospheric and I would definitely go back there to stay Fantastic food both breakfast and evening meals

Durham City Cottages
Very pleasant stay in beautiful countryside. Very good food. Beds comfy. We felt totally pampered and at ease. Would surely recommend this hotel to anyone.

There was on going building works happening when we arrived, at 6.30pm we had enough and decided to find alternative accommodation
