“Very sizeable, clean rooms that are a perfect respite from the Everglades heat! Perfect location close to multiple restaurants”

“The room at the Captain's Table was not clean when we arrived and were issues our keys. We were given a better room at the Ivey House. Both hotels are managed by the same group with check-in at the Ivey House. The room at the Ivey House was nicer and the property appearance was better and looked better maintained.”

“Great mom and pop small town feel. Pool like all the restaurants in town are closed up by 8 making for nice quiet evenings to wind down to.”

“For the price per night. Cockroach in bathtub, dead bugs everywhere. Bedroom with curtain that doesnt close a bed shoved in a space. Ice maker doesnt work, burner on stove doesnt work, musty smell, furniture so low cant get out of. No regulation of air or heat. Giant step to get in and out. Should have a step there. Worst place we have stayed in everglades.”

“I was disappointed in the room in that the pictures were somewhat deceiving and the security was exceedingly poor. I did not feel very safe and I live in a in the heart of a large city. We left a day early.”

“The name was different so made it very hard to find. Also could not check in here there is nobody at front desk. I had to drive across town to a different hotel to check in. Overall a very poor experience. ”

“We brought our son down for his 7th birthday. We had a great time. Property was just as pictured, clean, communication was great. He enjoyed fishing off the dock while we weren’t out and about checking out nature and wildlife. We will for sure be back. ”
