This stunning 3 bed/2 bath cabin features a wood-burning stove for toasty evenings in, and a games room with a foosball table, two arcade games, shuffleboard & more. The backyard has tons of space for kids & non-shedding pets, and a large deck with outdoor seating & a BBQ. The best part? This community has tennis/basketball/pickleball courts & other amenities to enjoy.

This kitchen is fully stocked with essentials to complete the home-away-from-home experience.

BACKYARD/PATIO
This home features a large deck/patio space with outdoor seating and a BBQ (propane included.) The backyard features plenty of space for kids or pets to roam and a fire pit for late-night stargazing. Please note that the yard is not fenced.


LAUNDRY
This unit features an ensuite washer/dryer with laundry pods and dryer sheets for your use.


PARKING
You will have access to the private driveway with space for up to 4 vehicles.

CHECK-IN/OUT
After booking, you will receive access to your personalized guest portal, with information on the property and its amenities. 3 days prior to check-in, you will receive detailed check-in instructions and directions to the property.

We have set up a seamless entry for our guests. There will be no reason to slow you down upon your arrival. Please do not hesitate to reach out if there's something you need during your stay with us.

Located just off Highway 93/95 in the Dutch Creek community, this home offers a peaceful mountain getaway with easy access to Fairmont's highlights.

At Hoodoo Haven, you'll be close to...

Fairmont Hot Springs (7km): In just over 10 minutes, find yourself at Fairmont's famous natural hot springs. Here, you can experience soaking in a blend of scentless minerals that’ll leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. This excursion is something you have to include in your vacation itinerary.

The Whiteway (32 km): A 30km multi-use trail groomed for cross-country skiing and skating. Granted the world record as the longest-maintained skating trail by the Guinness Book of World Records. You can find an access point at Kinsmen Beach and Windermere Beach. Bring your skates, or rent them from Inside Edge.
Golfing: Riverside and Mountainside Golf Club is only a 4-minute drive from us. Also close by are Windermere Valley Golf Course, the Ridge at Copper Point & Eagle Ranch Golf Course.

Fairmont Ski Resort (13 km): A family-friendly ski hill that the whole family can enjoy. Equipment rentals are available on-site.

Panorama Mountain Resort (50 km): A world-class destination with incredible skiing and snowboarding. Other highlights include heliskiing, skating, shops, bars for apres-ski, and so much more. The Greywolf Golf Course is a world-renowned course ranked among the top 15 best courses in Canada. This course is in Panorama and perfectly positioned against the backdrop of the Purcell mountains.

To abide by all legal requirements and building security rules, you may be asked to provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, provide a valid credit card with a name that matches your ID, and pass through our verification portal.

Please be advised that all guests will be asked to sign a rental usage agreement that governs the terms of the stay. By completing the reservation you agree to the following:
* You agree to be bound by our rental terms and conditions.
* You acknowledge that you will be required to provide a copy of a valid government-issued ID and matching credit card prior to check-in.
* You understand that your check-in instructions might be withheld until you have successfully completed our verification portal.


HOUSE RULES:
1. Please respect the neighbours and the quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. There is a noise monitor in the unit that will test decibels throughout the day.

2. Neither parties nor events will be permitted on the property. The maximum occupancy for this unit cannot exceed more than 10 people.

3. There is no smoking permitted on the property including vapes. Any proof of smoking will result in a $300.00 fee for odour removal.

4. Although *non-shedding* pets are permitted on the property we ask that you please keep them off the linens and furniture. Any excessive dog hair or damage will be charged to the guest's name on the reservation.

5. We provide high-quality hotel linens for our property and proper makeup removal cloths. Any stained linens will be charged to the guest.

6. Any items that are mistakenly left behind that you wish to have returned will be shipped via Cash on Delivery along with a $30.00 admin fee.

7. Please note that garbage removal is not included at this property, and garbage will need to be taken to the nearest refuse station upon check-out to avoid a $50 removal fee.

8. Guests must confirm current fire bans prior to using the fire pit. Any tickets issued for fires during a fire ban will be billed directly to the main renter on file for the respective date(s).

Easter Long weekend

Last minute booking with family for the Easter long weekend. Check in process was automated and easy to navigate. Property was clean with ample supplies in the kitchen and sharp kitchen knives for cooking; a rarity.Take in take out waste was a cinch at Fairmont waste station. Hike up the river is 5mins away from home and allows you to follow the river or go up and hug the hilly trail. Arcade games and shuffle board were a hit; Tetris and Pacman round robin tournament anyone?Fees for VRBO's in BC, including taxes and hosting fees are simply too much these days for us to do this frequently; which is too bad- we would love to return.
