Come Leaf Peep at the Cabin! Pet and kid friendly!

Lazy Moose Cabin brings guests a true Colorado cabin experience, while being an easy drive to Breckenridge, downtown Fairplay and the quaint town of Alma. This is the perfect destination for families to reconnect with loads of DVDs, books and games, and a floor plan to spread out. This cabin has an open living and dining area, two bedrooms on the main floor, and a basement which includes a bedroom/living area combo. Guests can spread out, relax and make memories!

You will be thrilled to get to Lazy Moose after an adventurous, Colorado mountain drive. Please note you *MUST* have a 4WD vehicle through the months of October-May, although recommended year round. The last 2-miles to get to Lazy Moose are steep and rocky and will need a vehicle and driver capable and confident to handle the unpaved roads.

You will be met with tons of natural light and a cozy space to gather when you enter the living area. The living room has comfortable seating for all with a wood burning fireplace to make the perfect, cabin fire!

- TV with plenty of DVDs for a movie marathon.
- Cell Service works well throughout the cabin! *Please note there is no Wifi at the property at this time.*
- A plethora of books to choose from
- We have plenty of card and board games in the house for your enjoyment!

~ Kitchen & Dining

- Fully equipped kitchen, w/ cookware, silverware, and much more to accommodate your stay
- There is a Keurig and coffee station to enjoy your morning Joe.
- A large dining table to sit around and enjoy your meals!

~ Deck

There is a wrap around deck with a patio table and additional chairs to take in your surroundings. Partial mountain views and the sounds of nature are the perfect place to have your morning coffee or evening wine!

~ Bedroom #1

- 1 King bed
- A wardrobe to hang your items
- The en-suite bathroom has a shower/bath combo and Public Goods shower amenities.


~ Bedroom #2

- 1 Queen bed
- Full bathroom located down the hall with a shower/bath combo and Public Goods shower amenities.


~ Bedroom #3/Basement area

- 1 queen bed
- 1 full over full bunk bed
- Full bathroom in the basement bedroom with a tub/shower located in this bathroom and Public Goods shower amenities.
- There is a washer and dryer located in the basement
- Two cozy chairs and a TV with DVDs. Fun area for kids to gather!

~ Location

- This property provides the best of both worlds - complete privacy and everything you would want in a mountain house, and located close to the attractions
- Only 45 minutes from Breckendrige
- 20 minutes to downtown Fairplay as well as the charming town of Alma.
- A plethora of hikes and fishing nearby!
Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire cabin except two locked closets.

Fees:
Well behaved dogs allowed (2-max). A $75/pet/stay fee is applied. This is put toward the extra time it takes our cleaner to get all hairs and messes even the most clean, well-behaved dogs, along with the longer term care we need to keep our house immaculate!

No WiFi - Get back to the basics and reconnect with your loved ones! Cell service works well throughout the cabin.

No AC - but thankfully you're in the Rocky Mountains! Open the windows and we promise you won't be thinking about AC! You'll likely want a sweatshirt and blanket at night, even in the middle of summer.

Comfortable cabin in beautiful setting

The cabin is spacious and clean and has everything you need for a relaxing mountain getaway. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking all of your meals. Beautiful location. We saw 2 moose wandering in the neighborhood. No WiFi but good cell service.
