“Frequently stay in the Fairplay area for work and the Hand hotel has been by far the most enjoyable place to stay. The other option (Riverside Inn) has always been extremely noisy and the staff don't seem to care much about customer concerns. The Hand hotel staff were excellent and it was convenient having the cafe down-stairs... just be aware it isn't open every morning, but there are other options close by. It is a historic building so keep that in mind when booking.”

“The beds had dog hair or some type of curly hair on both of them sheets smelled like feet but the front office did accommodate me other than that not a bad spot to hang out if passing by btw use your own Netflix account to log in and make sure to log out ”

“We had a wonderful stay! The host truly cared about making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Communication was great, and the house itself was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. You can tell a lot of thought went into the space. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.”
