    Escape to Thick Spike Lodge, a stunning chalet nestled in the heart of Fairplay, Colorado! Perfect for families or large groups, this mountain retreat offers breathtaking views and a wealth of amenities to make your stay unforgettable. With four spacious bedrooms, including a master suite, and three bathrooms, there's plenty of room for everyone. Enjoy the cozy ambiance of an indoor fireplace, unwind in the hot tub after a day of exploring, and create lasting memories enjoying the pool table, air hockey, playset, original Super Nintendo, PlayStation and more! Ideally located near tons of trails and only 20 miles from Skiing Breckenridge and 30 min from the hot springs in Buena Vista. Thick Spike Lodge provides the perfect base for your Colorado getaway.

    The Space:
    You will receive and access code the day before arrival.

    Guest Access:
    Private entrance and drive

    The Neighborhood:
    Located in a quite residential area. Please observe quiet hours of 9:30pm to 8am as the neighbors live there year round.

    Getting Around:
    5 min to Fairplay with access to a Grocery Story, Gas Stations, Restaurants and more.

    Other Things to Note:
    Although the roads to the cabin are pretty flat and it is at a lower elevation close to the highway in the winter time when driving anywhere in the mountains good snow tires or chains are required and we recommend you also have AWD or 4WD.

The cabin was clean and beautiful. The kids shad plenty to do when we were there- which honestly wasn’t often as we were out enjoying Colorado! The host was very responsive to my messages. All in all it was a clean beautiful place to stay.

The property was beautiful!! It was extremely clean. The owner provided their personal cell number and responded immediately with any questions or concerns we had. We would love to stay here again in the future. The property was so relaxing and comfortable. It has so many amenities. Thank you for being such amazing hosts!
