“The lady that checked us in was such a lovely lady (i think her name was Donna) so friendly, absolute pleasure to meet her. Bed was really comfy and breakfast was good. Management, you need to look after staff like her, she is a real asset. ”

“La stanza è davvero molto bella, arredata con gusto e curata nei dettagli! Nonostante sotto ci sia un pub (e anche molto frequentato), si dorme più che bene. Anche la posizione è ideale, poiché con una breve passeggiata si raggiunge il centro. I ragazzi che ci lavorano sono tutti gentili ed in particolare Michael si è dimostrato pronto a risolvere qualunque problematica si sia presentata!! Pecca solo la pulizia della stanza, un po' troppo impolverata..”

“Great location. Close to shopping and very reasonable walking distance to the castle. Large areas for walking and site seeing or shopping. The room was clean and well appointed. The staff was friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.”

“Check in was easy and the reception staff said let them know if I needed anything. I wanted green teabags and asked for them over 2 days about 4 times. Eventually, Georgia, the reception supervisor, put them in the room herself, so I had them for my last evening…… I’d asked for a walk-in shower but the water was lukewarm, and, although they said it had been fixed, it hadn’t, so two disappointing showers in 2 days! The room was clean but the floor was a bit gritty (I was barefoot as I don’t wear...

“It's on a spectacular road of large Victorian houses & the room I stayed in was in keeping: it was large & high ceilinged. It & its shower room were very very clean. The welcome was helpful & friendly. I hope to stay again in the near future.”

“This was lovely hotel with great staff but no elevator which is why I gave it a 4 star rating. The staff were gracious in taking up suitcases and there was an “honesty” lounge on the second floor with drinks and food. One just wrote in a book what you used and paid on checkout. A beautiful breakfast was included. The room and bathroom were newly renovated v8 The location was very walkable to the train station and close to the stadium. ”
