“Fast and pleasant check in with Dev. Free parking for a couple of cars, or there's car parks nearby, ranging from £5 to £10. Stayed in room 6. Everything we needed, Yorkshire tea, a fridge, complimentary bottle of water, hairdryer etc. Also had a fan in there, which we didnt need to use, as you can open the bedroom and bathroom windows and get a lovely breeze through. The room's really quiet. Would definitely stay again.”

“A wonderful hotel across the road from the beach. Check in was very easy, the gentleman was happy and informative. The room had everything we needed including a fan, clean, well kept and beautifully simple. Very quiet at night, with a comfortable bed, breakfast was brilliant with multiple choices, cooked quickly and the chef was great. “I loved my stay at Torbay Guest house. It is located on a quiet road within a few minutes walk to the beach. The breakfast was amazing and freshly-prepared. James was an amazing host, very friendly and attentive. Near the train station or bus stop. James gave me great recommendations for local places to visit.i walked to Brixham from the guesthouse . “The best way to describe the Great Western is with the two words, quaint and quirky! The house is in the middle of a massive re-vamp, but that did not impinge on my stay, which was short, but long enough to form a very positive opinion. My room was clearly re-purposed, with the en-suite bolted on, but it was clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom fittings were quite new and of a good standard. “I found the hotel perfect for a short stay in Torquay. Only a 10 minute walk to the seafront and free parking just outside the entrance. I had a lovely cooked breakfast every morning with some extra treats. Really friendly place and I'm going back there in the summer. I'm using the hotel as a base to meet my friends who return to Torquay twice a year.”
