The owners Carl & Tace were so friendly from the get-go and we really liked our room, especially the bed itself, how clean it was and the location. You’re really close to the centre, sea and a nice little park/gardens opposite. The pictures don't do the place justice. It is a relaxed atmosphere with a self-service bar with available snacks. The Paignton Pier with arcades, shops & other dining options is 10 minutes walk on the flat. James & Christine have lots of amazjng options to help cater your stay to you. ”

“Ibis did not provide breakfast on day 1 and we had to go next door to the sister hotel Mercure. Following day Ibis was supposed to provide breakfast but when we went down tables hadn't been cleared and there was little food. We were told there was a problem with the kitchen and we had to go next door again to the Mercure. That night we went to the bar and it was covered in dirty glasses and the girl behind the bar was barely coping. They seem to have a shortage of staff or at the very least...

“Was a lovely stay overall, a couple cleanliness issues with the comforter on the bed having old hair on it but otherwise was a lovely kept room and hosts were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend for a stay in Paignton and an amazing location. I will be back soon!”
