“Great little independent hotel. I see some other reviews have spoken about the nearby train going by and the thin walls. The train is definitely close, but once I was asleep, I never heard it again. And I never did hear any of my neighbors either, so I guess your mileage may vary. All in all, a surprisingly spacious room, very clean, with a clean bathroom. The woman at the front desk was very kind and helpful with a great attitude. No complaints, no notes.”

“Overall a nice place to stay. Quiet and clean with helpful staff. The Continental breakfast is adequate but could benefit from more frequent cleaning of counters, tables and equipment between guests. They are supposed to clean your room every 3rd day but I had to ask someone directly on the 5th day to get clean sheets and towels. I stayed a total of 8 nights but when I asked for a late check out I was told I would have to pay an additional fee. Seemed a bit rude.”

“La camera era spaziosa, tuttavia nè l’hotel nè la camera stessa esprimevano grande pulizia. All’interno della camera c’erano diverse mosche ed è stato davvero fastidioso. La ragazza mora alla reception è stata molto gentile. Tuttavia l’hotel non prevede la pulizia giornaliera anche per chi soggiornava, come noi, per diverse notti. Sul sito di Expedia risultava il contrario, forse è importante che la struttura ed Expedia verifichino le informazioni che riportano. ”

“L'hotel si trova in una posizione centrale, vicino alla Messa Mall, all'autostrada e al Colorado National Monument. Il personale dell'hotel è molto gentile, disponibile. Nel complesso l'hotel è pulito. Ci siamo trovati davvero bene. La stanza era ampia e tutto molto comodo.”

“The bathroom sink plugged up and stank. Shower pressure was horrible. The girl at the front desk and the young man that she brought with her to unplug the sink were both polite and helpful. When we were leaving the next morning, we passed by 3 or 4 employees and not one of them even looked at us or acknowledged us, let alone a thank you or have a nice day. Do not recommend.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Maverick during our trip to Grand Junction for the NJCCA World Series. The hotel was modern, clean, and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. “Abbiamo trascorso qui una notte, camera spaziosa e pulita, con moquette a terra. Due letti Queen comodi e con lenzuola morbidissime. Bagno piccino, ma pulito. Lavandino in stanza, non in bagno. Colazione buona: uova strapazzate, pancetta, patate, pancake, succhi di frutta, caffè. Di dolce solo cornflakes e pancake (però erano buoni). Negativo: insonorizzazione della stanza: non sentivo parlare, ma sentivo tutti quelli che camminavano nell'hotel. Ogni passo uno scricchiolio.”

“Right in the heart of downtown Grand Junction within walking distance of plenty of bars and restaurants. Try Cruise Control a couple blocks from hotel for great beer, cocktails and food. Hotel Melrose has been beautifully restored— Lovely sitting area, backyard patio, and a great lounge. We will definitely stay again.”
