From the friendly staff, to the well appointed and cozy rooms to the fabulous onsite restaurants, this hotel checks all the boxes. It's a walkable distance to the boardwalk/ocean front, which was nice. At night, the area was lively and safe. “Handily located in the delightful city of Puducherry, the Atithi is modern and comfortable. It is not a resort hotel but has great staff, spacious rooms and a great roof-top swimming pool. If I had any issues, the pool could do with some shady areas. Cleanliness in the big rooms and bathrooms was generally good though they didn’t seem to often wipe the windows! Quite a lot of smears. Breakfast was excellent.”
