Hotel vicino a Ferry Island Provincial Park -

“This was an amazing stay for the kind of gateway I was looking for. There’s lots of parking spots and easy to navigate. The room had a good balcony lake view, kitchen is well equipped with a microwave, fridge, kettle, coffee maker with coffee/tea pods and cutlery. The room is nice and cosy with just one cosy chair though. The bed was comfy although the comforter and pillows smelled not so good; The odour felt like the beddings had been re-used and hadn’t been washed from previous stays. The...

“It was very nice for our family. Close to the beach area and convenient. Would definitely stay here again. ”

“The carpet in hallways was so smelly and the condition of the pool was not clean specifically the inside pool was so dirty and kids in inside pool playing with toys and was so noisy and disturbing even with the note on the wall to keep the place quiet no one pay attention to it. ”

“Parking was easy and just a short walk down from our room. The Hotel was very clean and looked nice. Our room felt like a bachelor suite, with one bed separated from the main area, and a pull out couch close to the fridge/ balcony. The reason I took off one star was that my husband said the pull out bed was uncomfortable. Otherwise a great stay, and would stay there again!”

“The Vedder is a good hotel for a place to sleep for a cheaper rate. The room interior is starting to get dated, the shower drain was slow and backed water up. Came back to the room to change before dinner between the first and second night and they were just cleaning the room even though we were gone since 9am. This is one of those, you get what you pay for properties.”

“Slippery tub caused a fall, and upstairs guests were very noisy.”

“This place is still nice and new so it was a lovely stay. Staff were lovely and the facilities all functioned nicely. The pool was warm and the hot tub was HOT :) The cons were the paper plates and utensils and cups. Unfortunately, I did not see compost bins for these items but wished that there were real dishes available to reduce the waste. ”

“Can make your own waffles for breakfast. Outdoor pool and hot tub was clean and warm. Rooms clean and very quiet. Nice blinds to keep room dark at night. ”

“The pool and water slide were great. The breakfast was perfect and very friendly woman running it. Our bed had a sag on one side so you either had to be in the middle or if felt like you were falling out. A baseball team was sharing the floor and were quite noisy and did some prank calls to our room until we unplugged the phone.”
