Dear Sir, Thank you for taking the time to post your review as we value the feedback of all the guests that stay at our property . Our riad has been in the hospitality industry for more than 15 years. And in order for any hotel or guesthouse in Morocco to accommodate guests, they would need to get the proper licenses from the ministry of tourism. So if our riad did not comply with the security and safety guidelines that the ministry dictates and enforces, we would have never been able to open our doors to welcome all the guests that have visited us in the past 15 years. In what concerns the architecture of the riad and how the rooms don't have windows to the exterior, we, unfortunately, can't really do anything about that as that's what the Islamic and Andalusian architecture is about. Our riad was built centuries ago and just like the other riads in Morocco, it was built with an inward focus which allowed family privacy and protection back in the days. The old medina is made of more than 9000 narrow streets and allies . So of course the street leading to our riad is going to be narrow if you compare it to a main street in the new town. Thankfully 99% of our guests find our riad to be extremely clean & comfortable, It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. and take the time to write about their extremely positive experiences with us at the riad ibn khaldoun We hope that you will come back to visit us sometime soon so that we can change your mind about riads in Morocco.
