riad molto carino in stile marocchino
riad simpatico e ben arredato nel cuore della medina. personale molto gentile. Unico neo, è difficile da trovare! non ci sono indicazioni nelle strade per arrivarci...google maps non riconosce l'indirizzo. Se si chiede informazioni non lo conoscono...abbiamo dovuto trovare una guida che ci accompagnasse (a pagamento).

bel riad
la zona del riad non è delle migliori ma è in fase di ristrutturazione, i due coniugi che gestiscono il riad sono estremamente carini e disponibili, volendo si può cenare nel riad, devo dire che ci siamo trovati proprio bene

Agréable séjour
Agréable séjour au riad TARA, accueil sympathique et personnel discret. Le riad a du charme avec un joli patio et un grand bassin propre où l'on peut se rafraîchir. Mention spéciale pour le lit XXL très confortable dans la chambre romantique. Après exploration des alentours, le riad est bien situé dans la médina. Quelques minutes à pied du parking, de la Place R'Cif et de la Talaa Sghira. Merci Fatiha

We stayed in the Amber room for Three nights. Spacious, massive bathroom, hot shower (not that you really need it), functioning aircon and wifi. Plunge pool a godsend after walking around Medina in 44deg! Not difficult to find after the first time, reasonable walk to restaurants, although catering was available. Friendly staff. Genuine riad experience.

Wonderful guest house!
Wonderful guest house! The service was excellent. They ere attentive to everything we needed. We ate one dinner there as well and the food was better than the best rated restaurant in Fes (where we ate a subsequent night). The only negatve was parking. This guest house is located in the Medina so parking is not right at the building. It must be purchased from a local several blocks away for about $3 USD for 24 hours.

Excellent séjour
Accueil excellent par un duo de choc totalement à votre service et aux petits soins. Caché au fond d'une ruelle de la medina, au calme, ce superbe riad est magnifique et confortable. La chambre qui nous a été attribuée, au 1er etage, était très confortable, joliment décorée, la literie impeccable et l'immense salle de douche magnifique avec sa douche à la marocaine et ses deux vasques carrelées. Petit déjeuner complet et gourmand préparé à la demande. Dîner délicieux concoctés sur place avec des produits frais du jour. La petite piscine nous a permis de nous rafraîchir. Et surtout, nous avons apprécié la séance de hammam et son gommage, puis le délicieux massage qui a suivi.

Tout était parfait au Riad Tara! Le lieu est somptueux, décoré avec beaucoup de goûts. Le propriétaire et le personnel sont aux petits soins. Les repas et les massages sur place sont divins. Et enfin le bassin pour se rafraîchir au retour d'une journée dans la médina est appréciable ! Nous y avons passé 5 nuits ce que je pense est parfait pour profiter de la médina et des alentours en prenant son temos. Allez y les yeux fermés.

Best Riad in Fez!
This is just an amazing Riad! I stayed here about 6 years ago and had such a wonderful time that I had to come back. Mr Jim and his lovely wife are such fantastic hosts and such great company. The location is perfect over looking the old city, the rooms have been updated and are now even more impressive! The food and service is top notch! We had a wonderful time and we can't wait to return!

I would start off by stating that the property itself is absolutely gorgeous. We had the terrace apartment and a great view. The owner is so friendly and both he and the staff, Fateha, are wonderful. Fateha arranged breakfast for us in the mornings, and got up very early on our departure date to make sure we were fed. They also arranged a porter for us and offerred to arranged taxi (we had already made arrangements for taxi). HOWEVER, it is very difficult to get to this Riad from the main road, especially with baggage and a stroller. the path is very uphill and cobblestone, narrow, and with many turns. from the main road when the taxi drops you off, it take about 10 minutes to get to the Riad. once you get to the main road, there are restaurants and shops and access to taxis and other means of transportation.

Refuge in the Médina
Love Riad Tara! The lady who runs the place is so lovely! She speaks French and I can understand a little so we managed to communicate as much as we needed! The meals she cooked for us were so incredibly delicious and some of the best we had on our travels. The Riad is lovely - safe, secure, clean, comfortable with a nice view and seating from the rooftop. It’s also just inside the Médina so easy to access by being dropped off (and the lady met our taxi). They also offer a shuttle to the airport with a driver who speaks perfect English, and a small spa with massage and a sauna! Highly recommend this stay! It feels like a labyrinth in the Médina and this is a nice refuge. The hotel is also named for Tara the owners 18 year old cat who is very sweet and reminded us of our own.

Very good
The place is inside of the medina, meaning no access by car, you have to walk with your belongings for 3 blocks+_, eventually you get your bearings and find the place, one recommendation for the manager is to offer an arrival pickup, wee see this in marrakech terminal, various peoples from different riads picking customers. The spa service was amazing and the food the same. Our room is in needs of a good update. In general the place is very good but isolated if you want to go around at night is a little scary because all the labyrinths of the medina with only very few people around. Definitely an unforgettable good experience that we wiil repeat in heartbeat.

Riad authentique et merveilleux
Nous venons de passer 4 jours merveilleux au Riad Tara. Tranquillité, plaisir pour les yeux et le palais et Jim le patron est très accueillant! Tout pour passer des vacances à deux exceptionnelles. Fatia s’occupe de vous préparer de bon petit plat si vous le souhaitez et Jim vous proposera des circuits de visites au top! Le Riad est très bien placé, au calme de la medina tout en restant à quelques pas de celle-ci! Nous avions la chambre du haut, à côté de la terrasse sur les toits, au calme et avec une bonne connexion internet (important car au Maroc, votre forfait est mis à mal!). Les photos sont conformes à la réalité! Allez y les yeux fermés et régalez vous

Wonderful Hospitality
I had a lovely time staying at Riad Tara. The room and the bathroom were spacious, clean, confortable, warm and well decorated.I enjoyed the swimming pool, the spa and the terrific view of the city from the terrace. Jim,the owner and his assistant, Fatiha, were very welcoming and did their best to made my stay at the riad enjoyable. At first, I felt it would be difficult for me to find my way since the riad is located deep inside the medina. However, my fear vanished when Jim assured me he would send someone to get me from the town to the riad if that would be better for me. As a great host, he wanted to make sure I was completed happy visiting Fes. I really enjoyed my stay at Riad Tara. I would certainly stay there again and I recommend it to anyone who wants to have a wonderful time in Fes.

It is an old historical Riad which was nice, in the middle of Medina. It is easiest if you get someone to direct u to the house, if u are out and about, specially if late; don't waste time by following Google Map or a Map. You will waste time. This is the same for all Riads and part of experience of being in Medina.

Découverte d'une ville imperiale FEZ
Séjour formidable. Riad Tara est super bien placé dans la médina. Maison unique, avec un décor super (voir photo de la chambre).Accueil très agréable, Fatiha est une marocaine exceptionnelle, et très discrète. elle nous a fait decouvrir Fez en nous conseillant très bien. Le petit déjeuner est copieux, varié, bon, elle nous a gâtés. Nous avions commandés pour le soir des plats typiques à un prix raisonnable, pastilla, tagine etc... super bon.(voir photos). Elle nous a trouvé un guide adapté à nos souhaits. 4 nuits et 5 jours pour nous, inoubliables..... On a qu'une envie..... y revenir. Merci, grâce à vous nos vacances étaient très réussies.

Location was near the edge of the medina which was refreshing after spending the day in the winding narrow streets. Amazing view of the city from the terrace. Property was better than the pictures illustrate. Staff was friendly and accommodating and room was spacious and clean. Would come back!

Un grand week end à Fès dans un riad très agreable. Le dîner dans le jardin est divin. La cuisine de Fatiha absolument délicieuse. Le riad possède aussi un hammam et un salon de massage les 2 très bien. L'accueil est chaleureux. En revanche, c'est très difficile à trouver. Appelez avant pour qu'on vous envoie un taxi. Si je reviens à Fez j'y retournerai.

Merveilleux séjour à Fès
Nous revenons de 5j à Fès où nous avons logés au Riad Tara. Tout était parfait, la chambre conforme aux photos, la personne qui s'en occupe d'une gentillesse incroyable. Elle était aux petits soins avec nous, nous préparait des repas marocains toujours différents, excellents et très copieux (du coup nous ne mangions pas le midi...) Les guides et taxi recommandés par l’hôtel étaient également très bon. Le riad est bien placé. A moins de 10 min à pied du cœur de la médina. Une fois à l'intérieur, pas un bruit hormis le chant des oiseaux. Très belle vue depuis la terrasse. La décoration est typique marocaine, très jolie sans être criarde. Bref rien à dire, c'était un séjour parfait.

hôtel de charme, calme et bien placé
Les lieux sont charmants, à taille humaine ( 4 chambres louées). Les petits déjeuners sont variés et le personnel adorable. Nous avons testé le hamam traditionnel sur place, je vous le recommande pour une peau de bébé! L'hôtel est bien placé au sud de la Médina mais proche également de la porte sud, lorsque vous souhaitez sortir de la ville. Les lieux sont très calme et j'ai particulièrement apprécié le côté " guest house", on s'y sent vite à l'aise...

Habitación con terrible olor a humedad, sin luz natural y con muy poca luz eléctrica disponible... la puerta de la habitación no se puede cerrar desde dentro y cuesta cerrarla desde fuera... el baño tiene puerta... la única persona de servicio sólo habla francés, con lo q todo se complica... le pedimos unas mantas porque a la noche hacía frío y nos puso mala cara porque decía q ya teníamos una... La cena estuvo bien y el masaje bastante bien, el resto mal o terrible... Esperamos q este comentario sirva para q hagan los cambios necesarios en esa habitación y nadie tenga q pasar por la desagradable experiencia q nosotros pasamos pd: al cobrarnos nos pusieron una botella de agua q habían dejado en la habitación y luego metieron una comisión al cambio de moneda (no lo vimos hasta q ya estábamos embarcando de vuelta...)

Bonjour, Surpris de votre commentaire je réponds point par point... Nous remettons le contexte, vous avez réservé via expedia , le détail de la chambre y est indiqué, métrage , environnement, ainsi que des photos donc pas de surprise au niveau de la conception de la chambre dont nous rappelons le tarif de 48 euros pour 2 petit-déjeuner compris. Toutes nos chambres sont chauffées et climatisées , possible de chauffer jusqu'à 30 degrés. Vous êtes arrivés un jour de pluie, VOUS avez REFUSEZ le chauffage, par le système de climatisation, pour ne pas avoir de bruit....nous vous avons fourni des couvertures supplémentaires, donc par logique, pas de chauffage veut dire par conséquence humidité. Merci pour votre commentaire positif sur le massage , d'ailleurs, nous nous sommes parler et vous en étiez très satisfaite ; comme quoi tout n'est pas horrible. Pour le petit-déjeuner, vous avez eu café, jus d orange frais, 2 sortes de crêpes marocaines, du pain frais, 3 confitures , miel...tout ça pour un tarif plus que raisonnable. Pour la facturation, 2 euros pour la bouteille d eau , pas celle de la chambre , mais celle servie à table, pour les frais de 2.5 euros se sont les taxes de séjour touristiques par nuit et par personne. Pourquoi ne pas m'avoir parler de vos soucis étant présent au Riad ? Cette petite chambre satisfait heureusement beaucoup de mes clients ayant un petit budget et la trouve surtout très coocooning. Nous sommes désolés pour votre mauvaise expérience chez moi, dû au faite que vous avez refusé la climatisation chauffante. Pour le taux de change du jour, il était de 11,22, donc pas de tricherie le jour de votre venue le 5 janvier 2018. Avec le plaisirs de vous avoir répondu avec courtoisie. Le propriétaire.

Amazing experience!
I had possibly the best hotel experience of my life here. The hotel and rooms are beautiful, luxurious and well-decorated. The service was excellent. The owner and the assistant were more than helpful, giving us tips and maps for seeing the city and giving us tea upon arrival. Breakfast each morning was amazing and the dinner we had there was delicious as well. It is centrally located and has a beautiful rooftop terrace overlooking the city. All of this for such a reasonable price makes Riad Tara an awesome place to stay. There's also a cute cat who hangs out in the lounge area!

Très belle Riad
Wow, très belle Riad. Le personnel est excelllent, incluant le proprio et la dame. Les deux nous ont aider avec tout nos questions. N hesitez pas de prendre une massage sur place. Lors de notre arrivez, sommes venu nous chercher au taxi pour nous accompagner au Riad ainsi lors de notre depart. Nous y retournerons. On le recommande, dejeuner est excellent. Voud pouvez prendre le diner sur place si vous ke desirer. Encore une fois c est wow.

Genoten van ons verblijf in Riad Tara. We hebben elke avond daar gegeten omdat het ten eerste erg makkelijk was, maar vooralontzettend lekker. Fatiha kookte traditioneel Marokkaans voor ons, elke keer anders en steeds met verse ingredienten. Ook het ontbijt, door haar gemaakt, was heerlijk en genoeg om een dag op te teren. De kat Tara was een lieve knuffel en altijd in de buurt voor een aanhaal. De kamers zijn mooi ingericht en zeer plezierig, de bedden en de kussens waren voor ons wel wat hard! De Riad is niet makkelijk te vinden in het doolhof van straatjes, maar met een app. lukte het aardig en anders waren er genoeg mensen die je de weg wel wilden wijzen. Dit hotel is niet geschikt voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn.

Hübsches Riad Mitte in der Medina von Fes. Das Hotel ist nur zu Fuß zu erreichen (ca. 400 m von letztem befahrbare Straße) Personal äußerst nett und hilfsbereit. Tolles Essen.

O hotel é uma graça! O quarto é enorme e muito aconchegante; estava um pouco empoeirado no entanto. A localização não é excelente pois não está no centrão da medida e há que se caminhar pelos labirintos para chegar até o comércio borbulhante. Mas faz parte da aventura. Fomos muito bem acolhidos e bem tratados pela simpática Fatiha, gerente do Riad. Super recomendo!

Beautiful Riad close to Fes Medina
Our stay at Riad Tara was wonderful! When we arrived, Fatiha helped us with our luggage, and walked with us to find the exact location of the Riad. It feels safe inside of the walls of Fes, as it has one gate, and then a little walkway to the main door. Inside is clean, well-kept, and beautiful. Fatiha made us amazing traditional breakfast (free), dinner (15 eur per person) and tea throughout our stay. She is kind and helpful. Our room was bigger than expected! With 2 rooms (stairs up to a second level with a single bed), and a large bathroom. The Riad also has a large 2 level terrace and a hammam, which I tried, which was also great!! Overall, lovely experience and would stay again!

Lovely Riad in the Fes Medina
Riad Tara is well-located, quiet yet convenient, near the markets and many notable landmarks. The space and structure are thoughtfully renovated, clean and lovely as is the staff, led by Fatiha, who is attentive and cheerful. She prepares a delicious and varied breakfast which we greatly enjoyed and highly recommend.

Close to all experiences in the old town
We were given a warm welcome by Fatiha the manager who turned out to be a "Jill" of all trades as she fixed a toilet problem, turned on heat for us as it was quite cold and cooked us the most fabulous meals we ever had in Morroco! We met the owner who was very friendly and helpful and we delighted in Tara the resident cat.Our room was super deluxe, large, with sitting room very tastefully decorated, Moroccan style. A perfect Moroccan experience!
