“Was just there for one night in one of the smaller rooms, everything was fine, in particular the staff were very frendly and helpful.”

“We had a lovely stay here, the property is close to restaurants, pubs and shops. Unfortunately, we noticed damp patches in the kitchen and the living room and a bit of mold in the bathroom around the bath. The rooms are spacious, however, the extremely steep steps from the top floor to the first floor had to be cautiously approached in the dark during bathroom visits. The games were great additions and they created joy, fun and social interactions. We had no problem with finding free parking...

“Small double bed with very hard uncomfortable mattress. Peeling paint on bannister . Torn staircarpet. Water running all night in toilet . Broken seal on shower door . Would not recommend property for families due to staircase property just seems tired and needs attention . It did have a damp smell ”

“No breakfast, no bar, no food or drink at all. No staff on site, No heating in morning, 4c in room !!! Window full of condensation, Kettle wouldn’t fit in sink to fill up.”

“The cottage is spacious, with a big kitchen and cosy lounge. There are lots of bed options and towels provided. Unfortunately, very basic items like cloths (for cleaning surfaces), dishwasher tablets, and teatowels are not provided, making it difficult to keep everything clean during the stay. In addition, the heating is inadequate, with the thermostat only on at fixed times and the space quickly getting cold again.
