“Spotless room with lots of character. Interesting building (a convent) lovingly restored, keeping a number of original touches. A wonderful breakfast is served in the morning; tea and cookies are available throughout the day in the library.”

“La camera in cui abbiamo soggiornato una sola notte era un piccolo monolocale, nella cucina c'era tutto l'occorrente per prepararsi da mangiare. Camera e bagno puliti, parcheggio davanti alla camera, raggiungibile a piedi perchè centrale a Te Anau. Gli unici nei della camera: il letto un po' corto e il bagno un po' piccolo. State molto attenti alla connessione wifi: se non ci si ricorda di fare il logout quando ci si scollega, il wifi risulta comunque attivo e si esaurisce senza effettivo...

“Overall acceptable “motel” but probably not worth the value , it’s close to the lake but certainly not to the front. The “front” of the rooms offer fantastic views and sounds from a trafficking road instead. Rooms are pretty old fashioned and the bed was garnished with a brownie fake ( and dusty) fur. Welcoming was excellent though but certainly not sufficient to compensate.”

“The motel is in a great location overlooking the lake. My apartment was clean, well-furnished and very comfortable, with soft towels, a great shower and a well-equipped kitchen. The hosts have clearly put a lot of effort into their property. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Te Anau.”

“Awesome place if you’re out these ways. Philippa and Rob are amazing hosts. We got a garden view room with a lovely view. Convenient location. The hosts let us park at theirs while we were on the overnight cruise in Doubtful Sound. Breakfast was included and it was a clocked breakfast. Will definitely stay again”

“Room was nice albeit we heard folks coming going when positioned in front unit given side stairs to get to 2nd floor unit. Staff (Kerry) was very helpful (restaurants and tour suggestions) but I missed a few details that are a bit unique: - safe is keyed to your room key which has a dedicated code written on it. I missed instructions on safe given this was not what I have been used to - coffee pods are not marked however inside a kitchen cabinet door there is a display indicating which pod is...
