“It was hard to find staff, especially for lunch. Our room was down a weird warren of hallways up steps and down steps. The room and bathroom were attractive. The pillows were awful! They wouldn’t fluff. It was a heatwave when we were there. The cleaning staff left the heater on. I was hot and couldn’t sleep. There wasn’t a fan to help move the air. Dinner was expensive and bland. The shower was difficult to get in and out of.There were no extras in the bathroom you would expect from the price...

“An absolute gem of a property - from rooms, bar, dining room and staff. Wonderful breakfasts prepared each morning. Do yourself a favour and book yourself a dinner there as well. Chef is very talented! The views of boats in the bay and the shoreline of Oban are spectacular from this property. Highly recommend.”

The room and the house were clean and had a warm flowery scent. I was lucky to have been given a room with a direct view to the sea. This made it even more pleasurable to sit in the armchair and drink my morning coffee and night drink. “The darling couple who own and run the B&B are extremely delightful. Our hostess started us off in the morning with a delightful breakfast, good cup of coffee and good advice or directions to our days activities. She made sure we enjoyed ourselves. The bonus was the view from the property was gorgeous.”

“The view out the front window of the hotel is beautiful. The food was ok.. not amazing. I ordered the risotto and it was terrible. We ended up walking to a nearby restaurant for drinks and their restaurant was booked and had more options. Jay the manager was super friendly and the room was comfortable and the bathrooms newly renovated and clean.”
