“Charming but in need of updating. Peaceful area and a nice hour's stroll (or less) into the attached Manor Park and its lovely pinetum. It was very muddy and boggy in the park in February, wellies are a must! Our room (12) was classed as a 'superior' but I don't think that was warranted. I've seen far nicer rooms on the website, perhaps we drew the short straw. We had a double bed which felt small, these days I like a king in a superior room. “Dirty, very poor health and safety. No lighting on the stairs or entry to the building or apartment. No evidence of CO monitor. Cutlery dirty and only enough for 3 and not 4 guests. Only 3 sests, all of which wobbly with screws missing and unstable to sit on. Crockery dirty and damaged and only enough for 3. Bedside cabinet fallen apart. Sofa beds supposed to be double, but were single and 1 broken and heavily stained. Cigarette butt found on the floor. Only 3 towels provided. Gap around shower...

“I stayed here because it is conveniently located and had no expectation. The hotel was above and beyond. The food is just phenomenal even if a little pricey. Both breakfast and dinner were simply superb. Will come back ”

Purtroppo la struttura ha arredamneto molto datato e con la moquette, ma è comunque pulito in generale. La colazione modesta, purtroppo servita in un piccolo spazio in reception. Il prezzo modesto ti fa dimenticare di tutte le pecche per chi viaggia e si ferma una sola notte di passaggio.”

“The breakfast wasnt great but the staff were friendly. The air conditioning was working but i felt the room was a bit cold for my liking but the staff did turn on the heating but if just wasn't hot enough for me. However both the room & its surroundings were beautiful! ”

“The room was really clean. Bath was updated and loved the towel warmer. The rooms could use an update, down-side was is was really dark. More lamps or brighter bulbs would be appreciated. The dining area has great food, we had a dinner and two breakfasts. The full English was more than my husband could eat. All in all a delightful stay. ”

“Staff were fantastic. We had to get moved out of our first room due to bad sewer smell from bathroom. The second room was dated, dilapidated. Shower door handle loose, rain shower head broken and sprayed everywhere. Cracked tiles on the step to the bathroom. Stain on carpet under desk, bed was so uncomfortable, it was like a mattress that most would throw out.
