A due passi dal Duomo, luminoso e silenzioso appartamento

Principio apartment si trova in una strada silenziosa per essere a 300 metri dal Duomo. E' al primo piano di un palazzo fiorentino classico, molto facile e veloce da raggiungere dalla stazione ferroviaria di Santa Maria Novella.
La vicinanza con la stazione di SMN vi permette di raggiungere altre località da non perdere, come Siena, Pisa, Lucca o Bologna, con piu o meno 1 ora di viaggio. Roma, Venezia e Milano si possono raggiungere in un paio di ore grazie al treno ad alta velocità che si ferma nella stazione ferroviaria di Santa Maria Novella.
L'appartamento può ospitare fino a quattro persone: due nel letto matrimoniale in camera da letto e due nel divano-letto (160x200) nel soggiorno. Principio è dotato di tutti i comfort necessari.
- In cucina: lavastoviglie, microonde con grill, piano cottura a induzione, tostapane, macchina per il caffè americano e caffettiera italiana, spremiagrumi, connessione wi-fi, TV.
- Nel bagno: una doccia spaziosa per due persone, asciugamani, asciugacapelli, sapone.
- Nel ripostiglio: lavatrice, asciugatrice, ferro da stiro e asse.

In casa troverete alcune mappe e guide su Firenze e la campagna intorno.
Nell'appartamento non si può fumare.

A pochi passi da casa si possono trovare tutti i principali siti storici e le piazze più visitate; la Galleria degli Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio, le Cappelle Medicee, il Duomo, il Campanile di Giotto, Piazza della Signoria, Piazza Santo Spirito, Piazza Santa Croce, il Mercato di San Lorenzo, il vecchio e nuovo Mercato Centrale. Non perdetevi la vista su Firenze che si gode dall'Abbazia di San Miniato al Monte. Imperdibile. E neanche il Piazzale Michelangelo 300 metri più sotto. Entrambi raggiungibile a piedi dall'appartamento (con un paio di scarpe comode), passando dalla scalinata che parte da Porta San Niccolò.
Nelle vicinanze di Via dell'Alloro troverete magnifici negozi (tra cui il negozio Richard Ginori in Via dei Rondinelli) .

Perfetta!!!!!

La posizione e' eccezionale, con il duomo a 100 metri, una garage a 20 metri, bar e ristoranti sotto casa, ed un conad a 50 metri. L'interno e' finemente ristrutturato. La qualità degli arredi e' buona e confortevole . La proprietaria e' estremamente gentile e disponibile. Con la mia famiglia siamo stati benissimo. Caldamente consigliata

Excellent location, sweet apartment

Stayed 3 nights during a very hot spell. It was our first time in Florence and the apartment is within walking distance for everything we had time for in that period (Duomo Plaza, Pitti Palace & Boboli Garden, Academia, Michelangelo Plaza at night, lunches and dinner all around town, and even a 9-mile hike up into the hills. The apartment was a welcoming respite from the extreme heat and allowed us to recharge before evening activities. We had everything we needed at the apartment and Lucia checked in to make sure we were all set. Definitely recommend for a single or couple.

Great location!

We had a great time staying at this place. It was mostly quiet and centrally located in historic downtown. Easy walking to most places. We had everything we needed and Lucia does a great job coordinating check in and out. Lots of tourist resources and books in apartment. Lucia will also provide recommendations and help you with anything you may need-she was always checking in on us. Easily stay here again!!

Recent stay in Florence, Italy at Lucia's apartment

The apartment is very nice. Bathroom is excellent with bidet and plenty of hot water. Everything was very clean. It is close to the Santa Maria Novella train station and we walked with our luggage. Timed it just right and Lucia was there to let us in. John and I spent 2 days trying to see alot and enjoyed Florence. There is some street noise but most subsided before really late..Lucia is very nice and helpful. Thanks so much Jeanne S. 05/12/25

Lovely expansive apartment in Perfect location just steps from Duomo

Beautifully renovated and expansive apartment with effective air conditioning and full kitchen. For European sensibilities, the shower was enormous and reliable. Great collection of guidebooks in English and nice decorative touches throughout. Lucia was a wonderful hostess and let us leave our luggage a little longer as we squeezed a few more minutes in our Florence stay! Grazie mille!

Great Location

Location, location, location! This was a perfect flat for our 4 night stay. Plenty of space and well appointed. We were grateful to have a washer and dryer (and not in a combined unit). Our only concern was that the entrance was in an alley and not on a main street. The host was gracious, helpful, and communicated thoroughly - a really lovely person!

Great Location

Enjoyed our stay here!

Great location close to the train. We loved being able to open the windows during the day to let the light and fresh air in. It was nice to close the shutters at night too. Lots of great coffee bars and restaurants within a block or two. We also enjoyed the big shower. Lucia was a great host and we appreciate the good communication!

Just Book It

Unbelievable location and seriously such a nice apartment. All the things you want and low key all the things you need and didn't realize. Super hot, high pressure shower. Full kitchen to do simple stuff. Washer and dryer which you never know you will need. All steps from all the things you want to see and do in Florence. Book it.

Perfect stay in Florence

We absolutely loved our stay at Lucia's apartment. Communication leading up to our visit was excellent as was getting easy directions to the property from the train station and meeting up at the apartment to go over all of the details of our stay. We were blown away at the cleanliness and also the attention to all of the little details that made our stay so comfortable. Everything a traveler might need was provided with the perfect little touch. The location was great for a first time Florence visitor. We needed to see all of the sights and we were within walking distance to everything, yet the apartment was so quiet and peaceful. If you're looking for a great vacation retreat, you've found it and you won't be disappointed!

A perfect spot to explore Firenze (Florence)

This property is an ideal spot to explore Firenze. A very walkable city, having a property this centrally located where you can easily return throughout the day was transformative for us and really enhanced our stay in the city. The apartment is perfect for a couple for the weekend and can accommodate more on the sleeper sofa in the living room. With a very comfortable bed and strong air conditioning we were able to relax even on the warmest day. The small kitchen was a wonderful addition after having spent weeks in hotels. The WC is comfortable, clean and modern. Be sure to check the notes in the guest book, we greatly benefited from the notes left by previous guests with tips and tricks on where to eat and shop. Finally Lucia was a fantastic host. She was very helpful with notes and tips on getting to the apartment and the city in general. She was also great when our plans changed and was accommodating to our requests. I’d highly recommend this property, and look forward to returning myself.

Firenze paradise

My wife and booked this Vrbo not having any idea of where we should be for exploring the city. We could not be any happier with the location as we were merely steps to the dome and all that it has to offer! The apartment was rustic in its appearance as you enter thru the tiny streets. A large entry door for the building leads you to the front door of the unit and its quiet spectacular as you feel yourself slipping back in time. Our Host was extremely gracious making sure we in the building and comfortable. Answering all Our questions and giving us her suggestions of venues and places to see. Five stars for all her efforts! The apartment was comfortable for us. Though we didn’t spend much time In it other than to recharge from the days walking! I would highly recommend anyone to to rent this space. Lucia was fantastic the place was great!

Amazing stay!

Wow, all the little details add up to so much more than people may realize and this apartment has so many thoughtful considerations. This was by far our favorite accommodation for a six week trip. We were fortunate to have a personal welcome from our host upon arrival, cold beverage and comfortable climate control “on” all help set the stage for a very appreciative welcome. The consideration for all types of travelers is noted in the two tourist guide sections discreetly complimenting the clean and crisp decor. Cleanliness was well addressed and the bathroom appointment was in US standard - offering space to comfortably move. Needless to say, the location was great and our experience here was amazing. Thank you for providing us a home in the heart of Florence.

Great Location and Wonderful Host!

Lucia was a wonderful and caring host. She helped us navigate everything from arrival through departure. She even helped us find a photographer to capture memories of our 10th anniversary. The apartment, located just steps from the Duomo (as advertised), was cozy and comfortable, providing us with all the amenities we needed. We would definitely stay again!

Great stay in Florenc!

My wife and I just spent a week in this great apartment. The location was spot on and the place was spotless. I thought the bed was very comfortable, the shower was strong with plenty of hot water and everything was updated. W&D allowed us to pack less also. This apartment is fantastically located for your Florence visit. Took about 15-20 minutes to walk from the train station. Lucia met us with the keys and after some conversation offered to make us reservations for Steak Florentine which was awesome. Duomo, Mercato Centrale (great spots for lunch on the first level) Uffizi, Academie, and Santa Maria Novella…which was my favorite..all within a 15 minute walk. Great space, great host. Definitely recommend.

Spacious and well-appointed apartment in great location

The apartment was spacious, clean and well-appointed. Thoughtful touches abound, including complete documentation on all of the apartment's features and appliances along with recommendations for local dining, sightseeing and transportation. We really appreciated having efficient, separate washer and dryer given that our stay was in the middle of a three-week trip. Lucia is very communicative and was flexible in meeting us for check-in when our arrival was a bit delayed. If you plan to explore Florence, you won't likely find a more lovely apartment so close to everything. Highly recommend.
