After 18 months of complete renovation, finish in may 2021, in which we have put ourselves with body and soul, trying to create the ideal home that we would like to find in our travel, we are very proud to welcome you in our stylish, cozy and romantic apartment!!!
You'll be at the 1st floor (only 22 steps without lift) in a small tipic ancient building dating 1580 in the beating hearth of Florentine medieval historic center, a block (100mt, 300ft) from the Duomo, a privileged position in the middle of Renaissance story and its operas, between Michelangelo's David (2 mins by walk) and Duomo (1min), all the "MUST" are within 15' walking distance.
This is the ideal place for create special memories for couples, honeymooners, anniversary, proposal or birthday!!
You'll have 750sf at your complete and private disposition, a main room with king size bed, living room with comfy sofa bed, big kitchen with large table and a modern bathroom with ancient surprise in the shower.
Modern but not cold, simple but functional, of design but not flashy, the concept behind the restoration is "less is more" but the attention at details is maniacal, nothing is left to chance, from the bathroom sink to the custom heaters with the image of the Dome, from the ambient lighting that highlights the ancient frescos to the one hidden in the head of the bed, from the table made by a big entire tile to the minimal coat hanger (We haven't a traditional closet), from the stainless steel kitchen top to the soap dispenser made by real stone (very heavy, pay attention!!), all handmade on our design by local artisans, we really hope that you can appreciate and like it as much as we do!!
During the restructuration we discovered a lot of frescoes, some niche and an ancient wc that took months of restoration, we are very happy with the result because they make the apartment unique and valorize it, now you can do a full immersion in renaissance history and its operas starting from the apartment!!!
COMFORT:
The new Mitsubishi A/C (Very efficent and really silent), new anti-noise windows, new orthopedic king size mattress in memory foam (5,90x6,56in - 180x200cm), new feather blanket (Provided only in winter season Oct-Apr) and new feather pillows, will guarantee your perfect rest.
Obviously, every new guests, we change linens, pillowcases, towels and bath mat, weekly we also turn the mattress to keep it in shape and change mattress cover and pillows covers.
HEATER or A/C:
As per the italian law, the heating can be switched on 1st of November and must be switched off 15th April, it can't be more than 22°C degree (71,6°F), the heaters are already setted to the maximum that the law permits. If you want less hot just let us know, we can control by remote.
A/C can be switched on from 15th May until 15th September and the temperature can't be less than 24°C degree (75,2°F).
A/C have the function to prevent them from being accidentally left on when the guest leaves, each unit, after 20 minutes that does not detect anyone in the room, switches off automatically.
KITCHEN:
The kitchen is provided with double induction plate, microwave, toaster, washing/drying machine, dishwasher (We provide HE pods for both), Italian moka coffee machine (We provide the ground coffee), fridge with freezer and all the necessary for cook, for your safe there is NO GAS inside the apartment.
BEDS:
The standard organization is for 2 people in the main room's king size bed, if you are 2 that want sleep separately (Friends, parents....) LET US KNOW WHEN YOU BOOK, we must provide extra linens and open and organize the sofa bed for a little extra fee for the linens and service.
NO EXTRA LINENS WILL BE PROVIDED AND NO SOFA BED WILL BE PREPARED WITHOUT PRIOR SPECIFIC REQUEST.
If you are 3 or 4 persons, SELECT IT WHEN YOU BOOK, we must provide extra linens and towels in time and open and organize the sofa bed.
Every guests in addition to 2 have a cost/night, linens and towels are included in that cost (kids 0-2yo are free, we ask only the fee for the extra linens if they sleep in the sofa bed, kids 2-18yo is considered guests from VRBO).
DOCUMENTS:
As per Italian and International anti-terrorism law, we cannot host you if you don't send us a document of each guest, we must register every presence to the police headquarter, like hotels, B&B or any other turistic accommodation, so when you book, you can send a shot of each your passports or ID or DL through VRBO platform, it's a safe chat.
For the same reason, each guest or EVEN TEMPORARY VISITOR (parents, friends or other) in addition to those booked must be communicated in advance and we must have a copy of each document, the apartment can accommodate up to 4 guests. We can't accommodate minors under the age of 18 unaccompanied by responsible adults. The reservation must be made by who physically will stay in apartment, not on behalf of parents/friends/employee, these are airbnb rules, create an account require few minutes.
COSTS:
Linens, towels, Wi-Fi, Netflix, Aircon, tourist tax and all the utilities are included in the price and no other will be request during your stay.
Linens and towels (provided by a professional laundry) and a professional cleaner (not underpaid) that sanitize every time before your stay are fix costs even for 1 night stay, also note that our price will be charged of VRBO fee (about 15%), consider it in the "Value" section if you want to review us.
We provide linens and 1 set of towels each guest until a stay of 7 nights, on prior request, for a fee we can also supply more.
SPECIAL SETUP:
On request we can arrange some special setups for birthday/honeymoon/anniversary/proposal, in the photos of the ad there are various examples, from the rose petals spread on the ground, ornamental balloons, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" banner, candles on the floor.
Also we can provide a Chianti/Brunello wine bottle or suggest you a professional photogapher for a photo/video/drone set, we use of the collaboration of various agencies with years of experience, ask for a quote.
RULES:
Pets of any kind are NOT allowed, it is absolutely FORBIDDEN to smoke even at the window and parties or events are NOT allowed.
Check-in possible from 3pm, check-out must be maximum at 10am (not 10:10), any delay will be charged, sorry but we have strictly sanitize rules and we pay a cleaner from 10am, if you'll need there are 2 convenient luggage storage just 2 minutes from apartment, in via Martelli 33 (Red) at Tourist Point or in Piazza San Lorenzo 6.
Every problem or damage (a glass, a stain on the sofa or other), must communicated when happen, not at checkout time, we must fix it as soon as possible for the next guests, thanks
SAFETY:
ALL THE APARTMENT IS AT YOUR COMPLETE AND PRIVATE DISPOSITION.
NO ONE WILL ENTER DURING YOUR STAY, IF WE HAVE TO COME OR SEND SOMEONE, IT WILL ALWAYS BE AGREED WITH YOU FIRST, THEN WE WARN TO DON'T OPEN THE DOOR TO ANYONE, FOR ANY REASON, EVEN IF SAYS HE IS THE OWNER!!!!
For your security there are 4 cameras in the building stairs, all in common areas.
The apartment have a security lock with special key not duplicable without card, is an expensive key, for this reason, loss of the keys involves a charge of 400 Euro because we must change the entire lock and someone must intervene promptly.
We provide 1 pair of keys (Building's door and apartment's door).
VERY IMPORTANT:
The toilet have a pump that can grind and pump only toilet paper and organic waste, we warn to DON'T PUT ANY OTHER than toilet paper in the wc (especially long hair, cleaning wipes, absorbents) and liquid in the sink, there is an apposite basket in the bathroom.
COMMUNICATION:
VRBO platform is the easiest and faster way to stay in contact with us, only here we can reply in few minutes (Usually, consider the time zone and/or other issues), so please install it in your smartphone and log in for a better communication, thanks
SERVICES:
Most of the listings present have nothing to do with Bed & Breakfasts, the Italian legislation for this type of rental (Tourist Rental) precludes the provision of any type of service during the guest's stay, for example breakfast, change of sheets, cleaning etc. are expressly FORBIDDEN, we can't even leave you a bottle of water, is considdered "service".
CHECK-IN;
We'll try to do our best for welcome you in person but this is not an hotel an we haven't a 24/7 reception, so eventually we'll organize for your self checkin, is a very simple procedure.
PARKING:
The historic center is 90% pedestrian area, you don't need car or public transport to move, in case if you'll come by car we have an agreement (Only for small and medium cars) for € 23/24h with a private parking just behind the street corner (Park2Go, via Ricasoli 18), booking is recommended through their website by selecting "small car", to get there you will enter in the Limited Traffic Zone (It. Zona Traffico Limitato, ZTL) passing under one of the telematic gate with red/green lighting (red from 7:30 to 20:00, green from 20:00 to 7:30), when you'll be at the parking just say that you are guests of "Attico Pucci", they will take care of downloading your license plate from the municipal website (for 1€) so as not to get you any fine, they will issue you a note which certifies your regularity and which you must keep.
We are not the owner of the parking, we don't know the availability of the place and we can't reserve for you.
