“This hotel was a bit of a surprise, I’d it’s a little quirky, in a good way. The room was clean, large and well decorated. The location is great to visit attractions and just walk to many restaurants, cafes and historic sites. The staff was also super friendly and accommodating. ”

“We stayed at this hotel for one night, coming from London for the reading Festival. We arrived around 12 pm so the rooms were not ready but we could check-in and leave our luggage. The location is fantastic if you're arriving by train as it is right in front of the station. We were back later and were given the room key. Our room was quiet, had a very nice decor and modern appliances. The check-out was at 12 pm, and we really enjoyed that we could sleep a bit longer than the average 11 am check...

“Praticamente attaccato alla stazione e vicino al centro. Ottima colazione continentale. Unici nei: infisso finestra da rinnovare (rendeva stanza un po’ rumorosa) e fughe piastrelle bagno che perdevano i pezzi e camminando a piedi nudi, si rischia di tagliarsi. ”

“What a gem of a place. The welcome was warm, and despite the police sirens around Reading central, the room itself was very quiet. Although the room was described as having a large bed, in fact it had two singles, it was comfortable enough. The towels were exquisite, and the cooked breakfast equally so. Highly recommended for the price and warm hospitality.”

“La grande scomodità di questo albergo è l'accesso ai piani visto che non ha l'ascensore e le scale sono alquanto anguste, soprattutto se come me avete avuto la sfortuna di avere una camera al terzo piano. Per il resto ok, colazione buona e personale cortese. Ottima posizione.”

Curtains on the windows not sufficient to darken the room, so I was awake at 6:00.

2)Per spostarsi,in considerazione anche della nostra età,abbiamo dovuto sobbarcarci le spese del taxi 2 volte al giorno.
