“Our stay at the GrandWest Arashiyama was exceptional. The room was spacious and clean, reception was incredibly helpful, and the location was quiet and idyllic. During our stay we made the most of the amenities including free refreshments, a washing/drying machine, and a cute cafe situated just downstairs from the hotel entrance. Our stay here was easily one of the best parts of our trip to Japan and I highly encourage those visiting Arashiyama to consider this hotel!”

“È un love hotel, ma va fatto subito un chiarimento: niente di squallido o di ambiguo. È un normalissimo hotel che, a differenza di altri, offre anche la possibilità di affittare le stanze ad ore. Una volta dentro, non si nota la differenza con altre strutture. La stanza è enorme, oltre 50 mq con sala da bagno e idromassaggio con tv anche nella sala della vasca. Il letto e un over size e tutta la stanza è iper tecnologica. Con un telecomando si regola tutto, dalle luci alla televisione, dall'aria...

“Ottima struttura perfetta ottimi i collegamenti con il centro ottimi i servizi. In hotel si può acquistare la tessera giornaliera per gli autobus! Una pecca è che la cucina si aperta solo per la colazione! Sarebbe fantastico avere la possibilità di cenare in hotel”

“Great hotel. No complains at all, wish I stayed longer. They had free wine, beer and snack. Rooms are big, very spacious (compared to others I stayed at in Japan) The breakfast buffet it was ok (not my preferred food for breakfast) but convenient. The little cafe in the lobby has great sandwiches. Everyone is so nice, but I found that everyone in Japan is. Beautiful country!”

“The room was within walking distance from the bamboo forest and local restaurants. It was hard to find dining at night because some restaurants close early and you have to cross bridge to search for other restaurants. Too many gnats flying around. Gnats were also in the rooms. The staff were really nice and very helpful and patient.”
