“Wingate was perfect for my weekend stay while I visited my family in town (New Braunfels)!
Pros: The room was perfectly spacious, the breakfast (while limited with options) was yummy, staff was friendly and inviting, and the overall hotel was kept clean throughout my stay.
Cons: My stay came to an end and I had to check-out.😪
All jokes aside, this is a great hotel- I have no complaints! ”

“The place was very clean and host was very responsive! It was a great little last minute getaway. We didn’t get to use the cowboy pool because our stay was short and it needed to be filled. The sauna however was perfect!!”

“We had an excellent weekend at Horseshoe Riverside Lodge. The location is fantastic, and the place looks exactly like the photos — everything is true to what you see online. The rooms are very clean and beautifully decorated with a charming Texas style that really helps you connect with the place and its surroundings.

“The location is a beautiful spot above a creek and across from a hotel, a pizza place, and a tavern. The interior is clean and attractive with two spacious bedrooms, a modern kitchen, and a back patio with a view of the creek. There is a microwave. I read an earlier review that said there wasn't. The owners were very helpful when I had a question. We had a great experience. ”
