“Wonderful location and house was perfect! Great mountain views and we loved the firepit area. House was immaculate and beautifully taken care of. We had everything we needed and the owners were the best! They were very responsive to our questions and helpful. Truly a great weekend and we definitely are renting there again. ”

“What a cute little place on the edge of the wilderness. The creek is amazing, my dog loved swimming and running along the bank and so did I. Do take caution at the highway entrance and remember to take in the views at the nearby parks. ”

“Thanks for sharing your welcoming cottage for our stay! We enjoyed kayaking and I took the rowboat out and caught a 20” LMB across the Lake from the decision city. The anchor rope broke as it was frayed at the end. Also the ants were very assertive in the kitchen until we put all food in the refrig.Best regards Tom and Sylvia”

“We had a wonderful time visiting Ricketts Glen and World End State Parks, only 20 mins away. The house is exactly as described in the listing. Very clean!! Quiet setting in the mountains. The new charcoal grill was an excellent addition. We also enjoyed the mamma and baby deer that visited every day. Plenty of outdoor space to play yard games we brought with us. Will definitely stay again! ”

“This was our second time staying at this property, and it was perfect. We had our family of four along with extended family join us for a few nights as well. We love that it is secluded, spacious, and well appointed. When we weren't exploring World's End or other local areas we had plenty of space inside and out to relax and enjoy family time. The kids got to catch some fish in the pond, and I liked being able to have a convenient hiking trail for a quick walk around the pond. The piano is a...

“The house was so sweet and charming. All of the basic needs were met and then some. ”

“The owners have added some very nice touches to their VRBO, such as a Keurig, large TV in livingroom, hooded towels for children with books too. The house is air conditioned but with window units. There was a bit of a stale smoky smell to the house as my guess is it was once owned by a heavy smoker. It was more noticeable when leaving and returning to the house. There was an air purifier running at all times though. ”

“Ben was a very accommodating host. He met us on sight at check-in, showed us around the property and gave us his phone number in the event we needed to contact him for anything. There is a great bar-b-q area and hang out area right outside the front door. The house is in the middle of nowhere, great for rest and relaxation.”

“This was just what we needed. Quiet, relaxing, beautiful views out back. Just the right amount of space for 2. Loved the little touches and details. We will definitely book again when coming to visit son at college.”
