“In no way this is a 5 star resort. Completely overpriced for the level of services provided. Staff members were all polite but definitely not well trained and transactional, food very mediocre. Spectacular location. This resort is priced at the level of an Aman or Mandarin Oriental-type property and it is very far away from that. Very disappointing for the price we paid.

“The room was clean, sizeable and the jetted spa bath absolutely superb. But that’s where it ends.
We stayed in what was called the “modern” suite, a kitsch and garishly designed suite that was a far cry from “modern” in today’s standards.
Where it really fell short was the experience and service. Originally opting for Sisu around the corner, we felt we should dine at the restaurant given we were staying as guests and that we could support this local establishment. We waited 1 hour and 15...

There was plenty of activities to do, it is well-equipped - we enjoyed the paddle boarding, but the room was much more dated than the website photos appeared and we had mixed experience with the staff - a few seemed reluctant to interact. You only have one choice of restaurant but the food was really good - dinner and breakfast”
