“Roomy home with great view. Clean and well equipped. Convenient to McDonald Observatory. Dark sky at the house allowed us to star gaze there also. ”

“Our stay at the High Frontier Resort was only 3 days in the middle of the week, so we had the entire place to ourselves. Check-in was quick and easy, as our room keys were waiting and available at the door. Maggie (our hostess) stopped by the next day for a quick introduction and to make sure we had everything we needed. “This is a very unique property. The photos don't reveal how large the studio is. Linens, toiletries, coffee, etc. are all top-shelf. The location provides quiet solitude, great vistas, an opportunity to see wildlife, and great night-sky viewing. It is only a few miles south of Fort Davis, and the Chihuahuan Desert Nature Center is directly across the road from the entrance (highly recommended). We would definitely stay here again.”

Per il resto..solito quality inn, meglio dei motel di bassa leva, peggio di quelli di livello più alto come best western, la quinta, holiday in etc”

“We loved our stay! There was 2 disappointments the restaurant Jetts was closed. So wanted to eat there again! Second was the elevator was not working. Being older that was an inconvenience for me. Loved staying here!”
