Hotel vicino a Fort Frederick State Park - Big Pool

“Everything was clean in the room, but it was very hot to sleep in (the thermostat was set at 70 degrees when we walked in). We turned the heat off, thinking that would help, but then turned on the A/C and set it at 68, but it remained hot - too hot to sleep. I told the front desk and they said that the 3rd floor is hot. “The staff has been very nice also very accommodating . Our room was clean . We were thinking of staying long term while I do an assignment at a local hospital however policy is you move to second floor . I am not to keen on second floor move the floor is not as nice as first floor . It is dark and gloomy and the room we were going to be placed in smelled like cigarettes badly and working in healthcare I was afraid my belongings would also become smelly. They are renovating so hopefully in time...

“I usually get itchy eyes and a runny nose due to my allergies when I stay in a hotel. No problem here! The room was very clean and comfortable. The refrigerator was larger than most with a working freezer to store my ice packs. I travel with food to accommodate my dietary needs.”

“Front desk is awesome. Room is fine. No issues. Breakfast surprised me. It was great. It was like someone made it (homemade) and packaged it. Bacon, sausage, chz omelet, cakes and pastries. No complaints at all. I messed up my suit shirt and the lady at the front desk got me and ironing board and iron...set it up right there and we chatted while i did it. I'll stay there again.”

“Very nice and relaxing cabin! It is 20 min from the town and not much nearby so it’s very quiet. Everything was kept very clean. My son liked having his own room (although he complained the mattress wasn’t comfy he fell asleep fast). The hot tub was easy to use and clean. The only confusing part was Orbitz said check out was noon but the email from the owner said 11 the morning of so we had to rush out. I would definitely recommend this property though.”

“Tutto sommato un buon hotel, anche se forse, dal punto di vista della zona in cui è situato, più simile ad un motel, infatti era in una zona commerciale, non in città. Buona la pulizia, arredi standard. Un po' datato.”
