Great room

The room, view and response to issues was incredible. The water pressure was horrible and the bed slumped to the middle. We didn’t call but ran into the owner and informed him and both were fixed immediately!

Fantastic location

The unit was perfect for my husband and me - a kitchen, comfortable amenities. The location is amazing - right on the beach - balcony providing daily sunrise viewing / and within walking distance of local attractions.

Overall a good place

The room was clean and had a great ocean view. The property had everything we needed. Would def consider returning. There were two thigs reflected in the low ratings above. Before our stay, we were given the door code, but not every step needed to enter the unit. Communication was sluggish and took a while which was very disappointing after a long day of travel. The second thing was that the listing said washer and dryer "in unit" (I have a screen shot of the listing) with the option of coin op in the basement. We packed accordingly and attributed the 300 price difference than our friends who were travelling with us at the same place as being due to the washer and dryer. There was no washer and dryer in unit, which was also disappointing as we had packed in anticipation of using it in-unit. I would recommend the listing on VRBO be updated to remove "in unit" and the complete instructions for the key code be provided to travelers.

Enjoyable Stay on the Atlantic Ocean

I enjoyed my recent stay at Ocean Manor resort. The unit is as advertised and had everything I needed. The team provided a strong level of customer service to me throughout the stay, from wonderful assistance at check in (offering to meet me), to clear directions and resort expectations, to little touches like beach equipment and even a cooler. I travel a lot and sometimes when I wake up it takes me a minute to realize where I am...in this case I smiled knowing I was right on the ocean and could open the slider and hear the waves. The bed was comfortable and more than enough room in the unit for one person (my wife joined for a few nights as well). I wouldn't recommend more than two people staying here.The resort is one of the older ones on the beach and still very nice. The elevators were plentiful and fast. Valet at 18 per day was a breeze and the attendants were extremely helpful. The tiki bar is open late 7 days a week and the resort is close to bars, restaurants, and grocery stores. It is a very walkable area as well. I will stay here again when in the area. Thanks for a great stay!

The room & hallways were a bit dated but sufficient. All the elevators worked good. The bed was comfortable. Staff were cleaning hallways & common areas regularly. We had an unfortunate costly issue with the valet service that you are required to use. Besides the item being taken from the cupholder in our vehicle, they were scrolling on their phones most all of the time. In the 11 days of being there the front desk never acknowledged us when walking by which I thought was unusual. Most all of the outdoor bar staff were friendly, exception one server who never smiled and continually questioned us about bringing our insulated cups with ice water to the pool & beach area. The other servers would actually offer to refill them with ice, water & lemon. I felt we supported the outdoor restaurant sufficiently by eating 2 lunches, 2 dinners, 1 breakfast all with alcohol plus purchasing some drinks in the afternoon. We saw plenty of people at the pool pulling food out of Winn Dixie bags and having bottles of Gatorade & soda and couldn’t understand why she was so grouchy to us.

Great Ocean view with balcony

We stayed here and my son and his family stayed in a different Vrbo unit. We both enjoyed the property. Our room was nice and our view was amazing. I will definitely stay here again.
