“On our last 2 stays at this Avid, the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. I think it was a malfunction of the system and not an actual smoke detection. We were not able to get a good night’s rest. We won’t stay at this hotel again.”

“Very clean, thought we got a free breakfast but you don't, they had a bistro that sold food, kinda pricey and really nothing for preteens to eat, but we got the fancy Pizza and wings, which tasted good just kinda costly. Pool was small but clean, the were strict about kids swimming with no adult but it was 5 ft deep and the kids were 10 and 12, and grew up with a pool so they were kinda again, strict,.but other then that help was friendly.”

“Convenient location and excellent service”

“The property was great and very convenient to Little River Canyon. The drive to downtown Fort Payne was less than 20 minutes and there was a general store that served breakfast and lunch less than 2 miles.The cabin was very clean and cozy. Would definitely stay there again. ”

“Very peaceful cabin in the woods. Dog friendly property space for them to play. Porch is very nice to enjoy nature. Sauna was very nice to have instead of a hot tub. Kitchen had everything you need and nice size refrigerator. Close to grocery, gas and Desoto state park. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Happy Glamper RV. As always, everything was clean and organized. The camper was very spacious for 2 adults and a medium size pup! Thank you for always making sure all the necessities and more are provided! Can’t wait to plan next years trip!”
