“The island resort was beautiful! We went for a girls trip and it did not disappoint. It's perfectly located, so it was super easy going back and forth to Destin. The rooms are nicely decorated and had a walk in shower. The resort property was well kept and updated. The buffet breakfast was average, but it was hot and they did have a few options. However, there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance and just even more just a short drive up the main road. Be sure to pay attention to...

“i really enjoyed staying here, and for a great price- we were within walking distance of the beach! Well worth it for a young couple trying to save money and have a good time in Destin. Also- this was a very quiet hotel with not that much traffic of people so that was a bonus too :-) Also also- the free breakfast is always a plus! <3 Thank you for the wonderful stay!”

“room was clean. the door locks are weird and you must pull the handle weird to get your door to closed. we paid for the breakfast ahead and it was okay. staff were nice. there was plenty of parking on property. beach is a 5 min walk”

“The hotel was ok, it's very outdated, the rooms smells funny and the bathroom tub looks dirty no matter how much I tried to scub it. Upon taking a shower the water doesn't drain properly, so it's filling up as you are showering. The bed was comfortable at least and the coffee was good. I have been to several LaQuinta's I was very shocked how outdated this one was, especially being in the location it was in, but it won't stop me from booking at others.”
