Despite the fact that the property's published policies made no mention whatsoever of any minimum age requirement, the hotel refused to honor the reservation solely because the guest was 18 years old. Compounding the issue, Expedia facilitated the reservation and sold the stay to an 18-year-old without any warning or indication that the booking might be rejected on arrival. This lack of transparency from both the property and the platform set the guest up for failure and caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience, not to mention money loss.
