    Penserai di aver lasciato il Texas e di aver trovato il paradiso quando arrivi in questa posizione lussureggiante proprio sul lago. Questa bella casa di tronchi si trova in una zona appartata senza vicini dall'altra parte della strada, solo più alberi! Quando entri in 1,5 acri recintati, rimarrai stupito dalle 130 querce che raggiungono i 60 'in alto. Goditi la brezza del lago mentre fai dondolare o dondolare sul portico di 46 ', oppure fai una passeggiata fino allo swing del gazebo sul lungomare o al molo coperto.

    Anche se sarai a soli 30 minuti da Fort Worth e 60 minuti da Dallas, ti sentirai trasportato nella foresta incantata sul lago.

We have been staying here for a number of years. We have a family lake house not far away, but the family has grown and we needed more room. It’s a great little log cabin. Buddy is a great host! We really appreciated the WiFi this year! Thanks!!!

Family came in to town for a visit, property provided a great private location on the lake to relax and fish while being a short distance from Ft Worth area

The house was amazing, very comfortable and cozy.. close to downtown.. The owners provided us with everything we needed and then some.. we even got to see one beautiful sunset.. no issues getting in or out.. we would highly recommend this place and look forward to another stay..

The cabin is amazing. Buddy is a great host and very helpful. We enjoyed feeding the ducks and fishing off the deck. Lots of swings to choose from to enjoy the view of the lake!

Relaxing Lake Getaway

Right on the lake, rustic log cabin with plenty of room and comfortable beds. Quiet area that was great for kayaking. Would stay again!

Perfect weekend get away

This is the perfect place for a weekend get away. Right on the water and quiet but close enough to town if you need something. Katy and Buddy are always welcoming and make sure everything is in order for your stay

Very comfortable - great for vacation!

Our family (including two teenagers) had a great stay at the cabin. There was plenty of room for us to relax and have a little fun. Don't worry about forgetting anything - the cabin has everything set up and ready to go. There are plenty of notes everywhere to let you know what to do... I'd definitely recommend this property to those looking to escape the hotel on their next vacation.

Relaxing retreat

This is a gem of a getaway cabin. We will be coming back here. Lovely little beach, great dock, everywhere there are swings and rocking chairs, and the beds are comfy. We needed a relaxing getaway from. Our family histle and this place and its proprieters were just the ticket. Fun little surprises all throughout the property. Easy communication with Katy. Having shades on all the windows is a huge bonus!

KIWI VISITORS LOVE THIS PLACE

My husband and I from NZ joined our family from McKinney and had a truly lovely relaxing time at the cabin. The hosts are most hospitable and go the extra mile with games for all and a paddling pool the kids could spend all day in. It was fun fishing off the jetty. We had no need to leave the property in our 3 nights there. The cabin was well equipped and clean. We enjoyed the shade from tree, verandah and on the jetty. Les has to make us the "washer" game now he is back home.

Absolutely amazing

The photos do not lie - this place is just as gorgeous as it looks. Such a peaceful, beautiful retreat and the sunrises were second to none. The cabin provided the venue for our honeymoon and we couldn't imagine a lovelier place to have spent it. The cabin itself is charming and was spotlessly clean and fully stocked. Our hosts are the kindest most facilitating people you could hope to meet and we are blessed to have met them. They only added to the overall brilliance of the experience. We would recommend this hidden getaway to anyone who is looking for a break from the real world. Loved it, thank you.

YEP THAT'S RIGHT--YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME. My wife and I own property on a large Texas lake but after staying with Katy and Buddy one time at this beautiful Log Home on Eagle Mountain Lake we immediately put our property on the market and are planning to come here when we are headin out to the lake. Everything in the previous reviews is 100% accurate so there is no reason for me to waste your time here-read them and believe those reviews. Had we found this place years ago, we would never have purchased waterfront property. This is just tooooooo easy and wonderful to bother with owning a place of our own. Everything has been thought through by these wonderful owners and everything is in place and perfect and spotless. Shopping for groceries or anything for that matter is very easy as this lake is nestled in the middle of every amenity (restaurants, shopping, boat ramps, marina, etc., etc....) but yet you do not feel like you are "in the city". Fort Worth, the Stockyards, etc., are close also. Not only would I recommend this property to a friend we are going to plan family trips here instead of places like the Lake of the Ozarks where we often vacation. This home on Eagle Mountain lake is as nice as any stay we have had at Lake of the Ozarks. If you are considering this property along with others, stay here first and save yourself the trouble of scouting around. Once you stay here there is absolutely no reason to look any further. I almost hate to write a review because the more people who find out about this diamond the more difficult it may be for my family to get a booking here. Our 8-10 year olds loved it, out 30+ children with spouse loved it and we loved it also. The photos are exactly accurate and do not at all over represent the property. It looks like the photos were taken the morning we stayed because they were an exact representation. This is just too easy.

Big Brother is watching!

Upon arrival my husband and I hadn’t even walked into the property before The Owner was standing in the front doorway. He proceeded to tell us where everything was and tell us about previous guests and problems he had with them. He stayed for a while. It was odd and my husband and I just smiled and nodded with our bags still in our hands. After he left we realized there was cheese left on the counter and a half drunk sprite in the fridge. In addition there were spider webs everywhere Inside the home and literally covering every part of the outside of the home. In order to use anything outside we had to take towels and wipe down everything from spiders eggs, webs and wasp nests that had been built inside everything. It’s the country but this was excessive for it to be a rental and for the property owner to literally live right next door. All of this happening would not have warranted a bad review in my opinion. However, on Saturday my children were outside playing croquet and ran into a wasp nest on the property by the tree. The wasps started flying and my kids used the mallets to fend off the wasps. Owner was inside his home but was clearly watching and runs out of his home and proceeds to yell at my kids and curse at them. He yelled “it’s for playing croquet not for beating the **BLEEP**out of the tree!!!”. Obviously they were not just beating the tree but trying to kill the wasps. Several times while my kids were outside He was watching them as they played and would just glare at them. On Saturday night hours later my daughter was playing frisbee with her dad and the frisbee went on the roof. Dad put her on his shoulder to try to reach it and couldn’t. About 30 seconds later He came over with a ladder because, again, he was watching us from inside his house while we were outside playing. It was an extremely unsettling feeling. Then Sunday when we were packing up to leave and he left a note on our car saying standard rates were only for 1-4 guests and he was charging extra because we went beyond that amount. First of all I have a family of 5 and the reservation included them from the begin but I messaged the owner prior, getting additional approval for two more who were coming from out of town to watch my daughter’s dance competition which is why we were in town, and we were told that was fine. There was NO mention of additional charges for anyone AT ALL. Overall we were VERY uncomfortable and feel it’s NOT a place for children!!!

Beautiful cabin and views

Wonderful relaxing lakefront cabin. Katy was amazing to work with. Even sent me links to places near by to eat. House has everything you will need. You can tell they love this home by all the helpful notes.
