“Cosy, Clean Motel + Warm and Pleasant Motel Staff. Such an awesome, cosy and quaint motel to stay. The breakfast made to order, warm and delicious was an unexpected treat. The waiting/counter staff were wonderful and friendly. Made our 1 night stay simply great and wish for a B&B experience a great one indeed. Room was huge and bathroom so clean. Water pressure was like a waterfall - another welcomed surprise. Thanks!!”

“The hotel was very calm and quiet. Room was comfortable and clean. The 415 bus to York was easy to access. A good choice available for breakfast. Evening mesls st the Fat Abbott pub were fantastic. Lovely pub with great good. Cloisters Spa was really good and i enjoyed an excellent full body swedish massage. Excellent. Relaxing 2 night stay, just what I needed. ”

“We stayed here for a short overnight break - the welcome was warm & the accommodation was fantastic. It was very clean, comfortable & perfect for our needs. Complimentary soaps & shower gel were appreciated, as were the coffee/tea/biscuits which were good quality. The room was tastefully decorated & had a lovely calm feel to it. The bed was very comfortable & breakfast was fresh & delicious with lots of choice. Would highly recommend & we will stay here again.”

“Very old property with an antique charm. Our bedroom was very well taken care of. Our only complaint would be the bathroom being a little narrow and damp. But these are things that must be traded off for when considering the age of the building. Its proximity to the Yorkminster made it very nice and easy. The food and drink as well as food service was very good. Servers and bartender were knowledgeable about the drinks and gave us good advice when it was needed.”

“AMAZING location in a historic inn, cute views from my 4th-floor room (naturally no elevator, so keep that in mind). The food and drinks were top-notch, and it's only a short walk to York Minster and the art gallery, Yorkshire Museum, Museum Gardens, etc. I will definitely stay here again! ”

“Bellissima casa in stile vittoriano, sicuramente non per gli amanti della modernità ma per chi adora calarsi nelle atmosfere vintage. La colazione, tipicamente inglese, nel suo genere è ottima. Il centro città può essere raggiunto facilmente a piedi, ma non manca la fermata del bus nelle vicinanze . Mi mancava solo Miss Marple!”

“Siamo rimasti a York per tre sere, provenienti da Londra e diretti ad Edimburgo. La città medievale è splendida, la guest house eccellente. La camera spaziosa per tre persone e arredata splendidamente. Il bagno in camera. Pulizia ottima. La guest house rimane a circa 15 minuti dal centro, raggiungibile a piedi o anche con servizio di autobus. Consigliamo a tutti coloro, famiglie e non, che decidono di fermarsi a York. I proprietari gentilissimi e molto premurosi. ”
