“Super clean, lower price for the quality, easy parking, great bathroom, breakfast was good, the only improvement would maybe be better pillows”

“I personally do not like to stay in a hotel where the rooms open to the outside as all of these do it reminds me of an old motel that’s been converted into the best Western hotel. The stairwell going up to the second floor was really grimy and needs a good power washing. You do not get a shining welcoming sign as you walk up those dirty cement stairs to your room. The bathroom sink and drain board was tiny and almost couldn’t fit all of my makeup and hair supplies. I felt very crowded. Air...

“The room was a bit tired looking and smelled heavily of Febreze. There was an okay little kitchenette but you have to pay to have any utensils. Refrigerator was useful, though. On the whole, the property needs a bit of TLC.”

“The rooms were disgusting. The first rooms bathroom light didn’t work and smelt horrible of smoke. We asked for a new room thinking that it couldn’t get worse, but it did. The next room appeared to have a weird red substance on everything, the floors, the towels, the tub. We found cigarette burns in the floor and the sheets looked very dirty. We asked the front desk for new sheets and never got them. This room also smelt horribly of smoke. Would not recommend”

“Just had a one night stay, great value for the price. Thought the seating in the breakfast area could have been better. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance and the property was clean and quiet, would recommend.”

“We love the Astro! The staff is super friendly and helpful, the rooms are artsy, clean, and spacious, and the property is also well maintained. It feels like apartments rather than motel rooms. We also like the lounge and the other guests that were staying there. Would definitely return if we’re in the area.”
