“The property is dated, however the new owners appear to be sinking a lot of time, money, and effort into the property and renovations. Once done, I'm sure it will be a great place to stay. “Good room for the money. Breakfast is a joke. Pool is destroyed and in bad shape. Room was clean. Blackout curtains were great. AC unit cooled fine. I would stay here again”

“I chose to stay at this hotel based on the information provided by the property. However, it was far from what was expected. First of all, the pool was locked up. As was the 'Breakfast' area. Their supposed breakfast time was listed on the wall sign, but they never opened. Finally, though the room APPEARED clean at first, cockroaches came out of the woodwork. “The stay was great The only problem we had was the storm that threw out the elevators and the hot water. Thank goodness we were only on the 2nd floor. The first night was not good but they got it working the second night. The staff was were nice. The breakfast was a delight. And the room was comfortable.”

“We stayed here for two weeks and Jill and Darren were wonderful hosts with great communication and homemade cookies waiting for us! The well-stocked house was very comfy and we felt right at home! We were in a good central location with Jefferson Island and Avery Island close by! The sounds of the little farm behind us were a plus!
