Hotel vicino a Frederic Wood Theatre - Vancouver

“Ho avuto una multa nel oarcheggio nel quale ero autorizzato a parcheggiare (mi era,stata,data,anche la chiave elettronica per entrarci). Al checkout ho chiesto informazioni all' addetta alla reception la quale mi ha detto di non preoccuparmi e che ci avrebbe pensato lei. Ora ho ricevuto l' avviso via mail di pagare l' importo.”

“Ventilation poor. Room smelled musty. No insect screens on windows and patio door so opening them was not a permanent option. Heating and cooling using splits was not great.”

“The Como Hotel is a fantastic place to stay in Vancouver. It is walkable to Stanley Park and great restaurants and neat market with fresh vegetables and fruit on the corner. The staff was very professional, kind, warm, and extremely helpful! The room was clean, fresh, and we were greeted by soft music. The bed was large and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel if you are traveling to Vancouver!”

“We were in an executive suite. The room was spacious, and the beds comfortable. The bathroom was ok. However, the kitchen utensils were very dirty, and I was surprised that the balcony had not been equipped with spikes or something else to keep away the great number of pigeons swarming about. The breakfast was ok, but the coffee finished very early, and no more was brought. The setup was weird, because you had to bring down your own tray and cups, get food, and go eat it in your room. “We loved staying here! We absolutely felt it was our home away from home. The location is ideal, close to shops, grocery stores , bakeries , the harbour and the beach. We hope to come back soon. The only thing to be improved upon was the dust underneath the bed. Not a huge deal unless you suffer from dust allergies. It only occurred to me when we were leaving and looked under the bed for missing items and the dust bunnies under there woke up my allergies. Other than that we look forward to...

“Stanze spaziose, con bagni grandi. Peccato dicano che i letti siano matrimoniali ma in realtà sono a una piazza e mezzo (nemmeno alla francese). I materassi sono scomodi e mollicci. La vasca da bagno fa fatica a filtrare ogni cosa. Si può migliorare tanto.”

“The building is quite old and isn't really a "Hotel". per se. That said, it had what I needed for a cheap stay in a clean place. The staff were the highlight, though. Friendly, helpful - great, all around.”
