We only learned there were other guests in the basement from hearing their activity, then their smoke alarm going off from a cooking incident. But we noticed cigarette burns on the couch and curtains, as well as a large stain of some sort on the couch. Noticed small ants on the floor crawling around. Kitchen sink did not work. No water flow at all. Washer and dryer had a do not use sign on them.
