La cascina di Melissa !!!

  • Vi diamo il benvenuto per venire a godervi un soggiorno rilassante con noi nella nostra fattoria di 42 acri. Speriamo di darvi il benvenuto a braccia aperte e grande ospitalità con un responsabile in loco. La fattoria di Melissa è una fattoria originale del 1860 che abbiamo ristrutturato per il vostro soggiorno moderno. La fattoria ha un'accogliente area salotto per godersi un bicchiere di vino al piano inferiore e al piano superiore contiene 4 letti singoli e un letto completo. È collegato da una passerella coperta 15 * 22 a una nuova struttura progettata per sembrare un vecchio fienile. Il portico ha mobili comodi e una TV che lo rende il luogo ideale per guardare il tuo evento sportivo preferito. 'La baracca fumogena originale è stata salvata e trasformata in un'area per grigliate all'aperto davvero fantastica, quindi se non hai voglia di uscire e goderti tutti i fantastici ristoranti in città puoi grigliare il tuo capolavoro. Puoi goderti una tazza di caffè e guardare l'alba orientale dalla nostra veranda lunga 50 piedi, e un bicchiere di vino sulla veranda della vecchia fattoria guardando il tramonto con l'abbondante fauna selvatica che attraversa i campi. La nuova aggiunta ha due master suite, una al piano inferiore e una al piano superiore. Il piano superiore ha anche due camere da letto matrimoniali collegate da un jack e un bagno Jill. C'è un soppalco unico nel pergolato contenente un letto completo per dormire extra. Ha una cucina completamente rustica e lussuosa con spazio bar e tavolo da fattoria e zona soggiorno perfetta per il tempo di qualità. Per mantenere la vecchia atmosfera tedesca, le porte olandesi consentono agli spazi esterni di fluire piacevolmente al piano di sotto. Se stai programmando un soggiorno più lungo, saresti felice di sapere che ha una lavanderia completa e un bagno completo che è perfetto per coloro che dormono nella fattoria. È davvero un'esperienza unica e un layout con la fattoria originale e adoriamo trattare i nostri ospiti come una famiglia con tante piccole sorprese ospitali.

Sibling weekend

Myself and all three of my siblings (along with spouses) enjoyed the weekend in Fredricksburg and loved this house. Nice and quiet and just far enough from town. Deer and other wildlife were frequent visitors.

Wonderful!

Our family of 14 celebrated Christmas, here, and it was absolutely perfect. Once we got in the front door, the welcome was pretty astounding...we were greeted by a Christmas tree, wine, a loaf of yummy bread, milk and orange juice in the refrigerator, along with a charcuterie plate of meats and cheeses. The property itself is beautiful - coffee on the porch in the mornings was a must. Look closely and you'll see deer close by (especially if you sprinkle deer corn about). The "little" nook on the 3rd floor was perfect for the kids, in which to play, read or sleep. We prepared all of our meals at the house - the table even seated all of us. And there was ample space for everyone to have their privacy. We could not have asked for a better location to celebrate family and Christmas together. Thank you, Whatleys!

Wonderful!

What a wonderful getaway our family had! I was impressed by the accuracy of the description and photos of the house on the VRBO link, but I never imagined the special touches I would find EVERYWHERE! I could not stop saying out loud, “this is the most well thought out house we’ve ever stayed at!”. It was perfect for our group of twelve—parents, four adult children and spouses, and grand babies. Lots of room to spread out, and every need you could possibly have was satisfied, from the welcoming wine (the red was divine!) and cheese tray, to the breakfast items of milk, juice, pastries, and various cereals, to the abundance of specialty soaps and hair care items. The hosts are true hosts—clear instructions on use of house, and no fussy departure requirements—they just want their guests to relax and enjoy, which we did. They even gave us permission to have a photographer come out to take our pictures while we were all together. The grounds are fun to explore—we even saw an armadillo rooting around the first evening. Coffee on the back porch while watching the sun come up and the deer and their fawns get their morning drink from the pond was so peaceful. This property is a gem, and I recommend anyone who looks at it to book. We certainly will again—except we will book for a longer period! Thank you, Tyler and Melissa!

Girls Trip 2022

Amazing rental! Everything you could think of was provided. The beds were the most comfortable! You are located close enough to town, so it’s easy to make a day trip. The location is great and the views are beautiful.

We had an amazing stay here. We had friends and family celebrate our marriage. Melissa’s Farmstead was beautiful and we had so much fun playing games out in the yard. I would recommend this to anyone.

Hill Country Gem

We stayed here for a couples weekend and everyone loved it! There were four couples total and we had plenty of room. Each bedroom is beautifully decorated and the bathrooms are also great and each are nice sizes. The kitchen is very well stocked, the grill worked well, and we had everything we needed to make a nice dinner. We loved sitting on the porch swings and looking out at the field. The home is located just outside town but close enough that wine tours will still pick you up. Melissa and Tyler made sure to include many charming personal touches welcoming us to Fredericksburg, which was sweet and very much appreciated. They definitely know how to make you feel special! We highly recommend this property!

Girls trip cheaper than therapy

If you are looking for the perfect stay in Fredericksburg, stop your searching and stay at Melissa's Farmstead. The character and charm of this place is exquisite. The amenities are superb. We enjoyed sunsets and sunrises on the porches watching the deer and peaceful land. It was the perfect spot to unwind from the busy days of shopping and winery. Location is perfect only 3-5 min from town. The beds are extremely comfortable and I'm known to be a hotel snob so take my word. Melissa is a super host always willing to give advise on the area and quick to respond. We are already planning a yearly trip here.

Beautiful property. Very peaceful.

We loved the place! One beautiful room after another, each view better than the last. Little glitch with ice maker and internet tv were not deal breakers. Just loved sitting on both porches watching deer and relaxing.

Wonderful Stay in the Texas Hill Country

Very nice cabin and beautiful location. The kids enjoyed exploring outside and the adults enjoyed the relaxing porch and wonderful amenities. Very nice spread of cheeses, pastries, coffee and other complimentary items.

Best VRBO stay ever!

The photos didn't do the house justice! It was so chic and trendy, very up to date yet also unique with interesting details. It was literally ready to live in! They had absolutely everything we needed and more provided for us. Adorable coffee bar, cereals and oatmeal, FOUR bottles of wine, a beautiful charcuterie, and even milk and OJ in the fridge! The property was gorgeous with the best sunsets and sunrises, and there were countless deer all around! We will definitely come back again! Everyone in our group raved the whole time about how amazing everything was! Super quick drive to get into town also!

Fabulous Farmhouse

This lovely home was perfect for the 4 couples in our group. It was even more beautiful than we expected and very clean and comfy. We enjoyed sitting on the porch swings in the morning and watching the deer while we had coffee. The breezeway is another great outdoor spot to hang out, have a glass of wine and throw something on the grill. It’s only a few miles from town but you feel like you’re out in the country. We hope to be back next year.

Amazing Property

Gracios hosts run this beautiful property. Full of wonderfull amenities. Great cooking supplies and high grade appliances. Super gathering place in the kitchenand betwen the two houses where we had a fabulous family cookout in the grilling area. Rooms werre very well appointed with new and confortable beds! We acutally had the entire bunk house we did not use.The property is georgeous and the owners were kind enough to stop by and provde some isight into their vision for the future. We need to come back.....with more people!!

Perfect Getaway

We stayed at Melissa’s Farmstead with some friends and our 5 total kids last week and were blown away by the lengths at which Tyler and Melissa went to make sure we had a great experience in Fredericksburg - our favorite destination in the Hill Country which has kept its charm while booming from the winery business which is catching up to Napa. The house and property had everything we needed, with numerous luxuries as a bonus. We loved all the porch seating and a huge beautiful lawn where our kids enjoyed hours making up games as well as enjoying the yard games there at the house. Our 4th through 8th graders enjoyed the separate house attached by breezeway while the rest of us enjoyed 4 beautiful rooms, each with direct access to luxurious bathrooms in the main house. One of the nicest touches was on checkout day, Tyler and Melissa reiterated a few times that they didn’t want us stressing with a list of to-do’s for checkout…”just make sure you gather all your belongings and drive home safely.” Everyone on the trip expressed a strong desire to come back and do it all again in the future.
