God's Country Cabins- Mercy I Vicino alla città

  • Vieni, siediti e rilassati sulla veranda di una delle nostre cabine di nuova costruzione. Ammirate l'aria fresca e godetevi la vista sulla campagna, la fauna, gli animali della fattoria e i tramonti mozzafiato. Le nostre quattro cabine, Fede, Speranza, Misericordia e Grazia, ognuna ha il proprio stile / fascino rustico / elegante. Tutte le cabine dormono due su un letto king size con lenzuola e lenzuola di lusso, mentre i bagni sono tutti dotati di una grande doccia e lavandino in rame.

    La cucina ha un frigorifero pieno di dimensioni e forno a microonde con una macchina da caffè full size con tè e altri gadget.

    Abbiamo un bel gazebo fuori nella zona comune con un barbecue e un grande tavolo per raccogliere intorno e godersi la vita di campagna. Forniamo carbone per te, quindi tutto ciò che devi comprare sono le bistecche.

    La nostra cabina, Hope, ha una doccia esterna per divertirsi insieme a una terrazza privata con sedie a sdraio nella parte posteriore per sedersi e rilassarsi. Le stelle sono incredibili di notte da questa vista sul ponte. QUESTA OPZIONE È SOLO PER GLI OSPITI DELLA SPERANZA!

    Siamo fuori nel paese, ma a soli 6 miglia da Fredericksburg, dove puoi passeggiare lungo Main Street, fare shopping, mangiare cibo meraviglioso, controllare le cantine o anche imparare un po 'di storia al museo Admiral Nimitz. Marktplatz su Main St. è il luogo in cui si svolgono la maggior parte degli eventi ricercati di Fredericksburg.

    Cute little cabin

    Our cabin was great! Clean, had everything we needed. We loved the location-it felt secluded and private (although there are 3 other cabins), yet it was easy to get into town. My only complaint was that the walls in the bathroom do not go all the way up to the ceiling. However, this would not prevent us from staying here again. All in all, we were very satisfied!

    Stayed there over the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed your accommodations. The Mercy house was clean, spacious, refreshing and relaxing. Would definitely recommend the cabins to anyone staying in Fredericksburg.

    Booked this Cabin for my 10 year anniversary and it did not disappoint! Cabin was easy to find and extremely quiet and relaxing. If you like to be away from town but still close, would highly recommend staying here your next trip to Fredericksburg!

    Beautiful country cabins

    Wonderful cabins, we enjoyed the quiet so much. We loved waking up to the cattle in the mornings and watching the deer in the evenings. We loved it so much we decided to find a weekend all the cabins are available and make it a girls weekend with our girlfriends. I’ve stayed at many vrbos throughout Fredericksburg, and this was a beautiful place and I we will be back!

    We had a great time at the property. Very clean and easy access. Check-in was ok, it would be more convenient if we didn't have to go to an office to pick up the key. Other properties we have rented had a lock box on property. The property it self was awesome, quiet and very clean. The common area was great with the grill, table and chairs. We will be back.

    Fantastic stay

    We recently stayed in Mercy cabin and had a wonderful time !! The only thing we thought might have made it a tad better was a fan or something in the main room. We enjoyed hanging out but it got super warm !' Other than that it was AMAZING. !!

    Very quiet place

    The only thing missing was a stove. I failed to check that when I booked and assumed there would be one. There is a gazebo outside. A common area for grilling, but nothing to be able to keep to yourself than a microwave. Still it is a very peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of every day life.

    A Little Warm

    I loved the looks of the area and the place we stayed was full of deer in the area but the cabin never got cold. Its a hot summer day and you have been walking around the town of Fredericksburg all day and night. You at least want to walk into a cool house. I understand Texas heat and all but that place needed more air conditioning in it. So I was not impressed.

    Weekend started off rough! After traveling nearly 5 hours for a much needed weekend, my husband and I arrived (approximately 1 hour after check in time) to a dirty cabin. Our plans were to rest for a bit after traveling, shower and clean up before going out to eat for the evening. However, we walked in to a smell from trash that had not been emptied, a bed where the covers had been pulled up from the previous guest, wet towels hanging, wash cloths draped in the shower and a wet bath mat. I tried to call a couple of times but couldn't get anyone to answer. Tried the after hours / holiday phone number and left a message. Since the property is out of town, we decided to head into town to see if we could find anyone at the rental office. About a mile out of town, I did get a call back but the call dropped before I got a chance to finish talking to them. Called back and call dropped again. Made it to the office but it was closed. Tried one more time to call, and was told they were sending someone to clean our cabin.Not the way we wanted to spend the 1st night of our 2 night stay. Since we were already in town, we decided to find a place to sit / relax and order an early supper while we waited for our cabin to be cleaned.

    Exceptionally well done craftsmanship, not only in the individual cabins but also the layout of the grounds. Very clean. Beautifully decorated. Nice bed, and welcoming treats. As woodworkers ourselves, we rate it as meticulous work. ! Highly recommended.

    Mercy Cabin

    This is the most amazing place to stay. The accommodations are outstanding. The bed is the most comfortable bed you can imagine. This is our second time to stay there and will can't wait to come back. The country side is beautiful to sit and enjoy from the rockets on the porch. Plenty of deer to enjoy watching.

    God's Country Cabins are great. Gastehaus Schmidt could make some improvements.

    God's Country Cabins were wonderful. I love Fredericksburg, but it can be a bit of a sensory overload. Nice to have a place outside of town to retreat. This is not the first time I've used Gastehaus Schmidt. I understand their "don't ask about early check-in til the day of arrival", and that's what I did. I went TO THE OFFICE just a few hours early. I was the ONLY person at God's Country Cabin, they wouldn't even take the time to check that no one had been there previously and hence was ready for check-in. When you are staying miles out of town, check-in a little early seems reasonable. My last stay with Gastehaus I stayed in Cain City. Waiting til 3pm to get a key in F-burg to then drive out into the country is not a great idea.

    What a wonderful quite retreat my wife and I had for our anniversary weekend. Beautiful cozy cabin with wildlife out the window. Beautiful area to visit. Loved the personal note and cookies on the counter when we arrived. My wife is still sending pictures to our friends and family of our wonderful trip. We will most definitely be back.
