80th birthday

Stayed at the ranch house with freinds for my husbands 80th birthday. There was plenty of room for four couples. Had a great time. Host kerri was very helpful answering all questions.

Wonderful Week Away

We loved the house, the location (out of town), and all the animals. Daisy the golden doodle was a great bonus. We will definitely stay here again!

As always the accommodations were top shelf. Wish we could’ve spent some time in that pool but Mother Nature had different plans. We played lots of dominoes & just relaxed. Thank you again for sharing your place with our family!

Beautiful ranch

We very much enjoyed our stay. We loved observing all the deer and other animals. My sister and niece enjoyed swimming in the pool. It is a beautiful ranch.

Great central location

We completely enjoyed our stay at the ranch. The house was clean, well equipped and as advertised. The site was central to many Hill Country locations and the hosts were quick to respond to questions.

Wonderful home for family vacation

The home was very welcoming and so comfortable with wonderful screened in porch in back with a gorgeous pool and bbq pits as well as a big fire pit. We loved the country location and the beautiful horses and ponies and goats. It was an absolutely perfect vacation home.

Such a satisfying visit!

The countryside location and views (and animals) were highlights. A well-stocked kitchen and comfortable beds were appreciated. Dining table big enough for game time. Adding the extra seating at the bar perfectly fit our party of ten. Those big, goofy dogs made me the happiest!

Amazing property and host

This was the most amazing trip we have had as a family. The property was stunning and Kerri and her family went above and beyond during our stay. We were so blessed to have her daughter Joyce take pictures of our group for a rare full family photo. If you want a little piece of heaven this is the location for you.

Arrive at the location. The drive up to where we where staying was amazing. The place we rented was clean and very cozy. It was a just what was need after a long ride up from Dallas.

We loved this house! Unfortunately we were going to a stock show shop had very little time to actually utilize the house but for sleep only. Amazing location and would love to come back in the summer!

Overall, the property was great. We loved the country setting with nice views from the backyard! We had some wonderful weather with 80 degrees. The only real disappointment was that the pool was not filled and available...pool

Awesome place!

Kerri’s property is beautiful. Comfortable, clean and incredibly relaxing. It has a well stocked kitchen large living room and spacious bedrooms. It’s our second stay and we are making plans for a third. It was great!

Relaxing and peaceful

April Kelly provides a very restful laid back and informal environment. Gorgeous views of the surrounding hills and friendly miniature horses and goats. The guest lodge has a screened in back porch the length of the building. Perfect for a family getaway. Loved it!

Couldn't have hoped for a better stay!

We were all so ready for a great creative retreat and the place made the event perfect! We really enjoyed the remoteness of the property. The animals were awesome, and the house was well laid out for us to come together or split up to work on our own projects. It was immaculately clean and very well supplied.

Another wonderful weekend!

This is our second annual girls trip at the ranch and it was fantastic, just like last year! The host is so friendly and so are all the wonderful animals. If you don’t like peacocks, chickens, deer, miniature horses, goats and dogs, this isn’t the rental for you ;) If you do, don’t hesitate to book this amazing home and enjoy beautiful sunsets and an amazing view by the pool! Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

Birthday Trip

We had a birthday trip planned, but all of us ended up being sick! The host was great and offered different dates but we still decided to come for a little R&R! The property was great and the ranch horses came right up to the front porch to say hi! It was a great cozy trip and my friends and I still ended up having a blast on this little staycation!

Weekend away with friends

This place was so amazing!! Very very clean. Loved seeing all the wildlife out in the evening and at night. The dogs next door would come over and say hi everyday! I missed my dogs I left back at home so it was nice to see the dogs everyday! This property is phenomenal. The sunset we witnessed one evening was like none I had ever seen before. Sitting on the patio every morning having coffee was the highlight of the trip. I highly recommend this property and I will definitely be staying here again.

More than we expected

The stay was absolutely amazing. The friendly animals, petting area, dogs, horses, hen, goats and pony’s we a plus. Not to mention the view!! Pictures don’t do justice. The host was welcoming and introduced herself in person. The house was clean. Had essentials in the kitchen, rooms and restrooms. Family games and WiFi worked very well. The screened in porch was a plus!! Ping pong table. BBQ pit area was perfect. Fire pit was beautiful. The pool was so relaxing. Felt like ranch heaven. Highly recommend to all.
