The Space:
Henley is surrounded by a privacy fence and a manicured lawn. A small front porch includes comfy Adirondack chairs and a fire pit for relaxing in the evenings with a cocktail. The front yard also includes a bubbly hot tub for soaking the day away, a barbecue for grilling some juicy steaks for dinner, and a corn hole game for after-dinner game time.
Once inside, Henley has been designed to feel spacious and open, with lots of bright windows that allow the natural Texas sunshine to flow inside. White shiplap and honey-colored wood accents create a chic and stylish space. In the living area, a bright blue contemporary sofa adds the perfect pop of cheerful color, and a mounted HDTV allows you to host a fun movie night with a big bowl of buttery popcorn. The sofa can also be converted to a full-size bed.
In the galley kitchen, crisp white cabinets and glossy concrete countertops supply plenty of space to prepare meals and snacks. The kitchen includes an induction cooktop, a microwave oven, a dishwasher, a Keurig coffee maker, a drip coffee maker, and the cutest vintage-inspired refrigerator you’ve ever seen. Open shelving stores and display the dishware and glassware perfectly.
In the full bathroom, you’ll love the luxurious Carrera marble tiled shower, cute bowl sink, and West Elm cabinet. Upstairs is the modern loft bedroom, separated from the main living area by a custom, contemporary wood screen. A sumptuous king-size memory foam mattress and mounted HDTV create a perfect comfy nook for reading, relaxing, and enjoying a beautiful night’s sleep in the country.
Henley is nestled into the friendly countryside community of Gladheart, which is 13 beautiful acres that include a small pond and some friendly goats. There’s even a clubhouse with a pool table, a ping pong table, and a vintage jukebox. Gladheart has the feel of an exclusive Texas Hill Country resort with a laid-back luxury vibe. You’ll enjoy all the peace and quiet of the countryside— including wildlife sightings and birdsong— while only being 10 minutes away from downtown Fredericksburg.
Guest Access:
✅ This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $1000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $53 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $1.5 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional.

Downtown Fredericksburg offers world class restaurants, wineries, and great shopping. They didn’t forget about the beer lovers either. Tons of local pubs and breweries offering an abundant selection of imported and locally brewed options as well. There are tons of things to do for all ages and Fredericksburg is full of history. Whether it be a romantic getaway for two, multiple couples, families, bachelorette or bachelor parties, private events or small weddings, Gladheart can accommodate your needs.

-In Texas, there are periods of time without significant rainfall causing the county of Gillespie to place a ban on burning. Please check the current burn ban status, before using the fire pit at a Fredericksburg area vacation rental.

-Place all trash in designated containers.
- Please be aware that the Texas Hill Country can experience high heat and drought during the summer, which can attract pests to the exterior lights at night. Our properties receive extermination, but guests may encounter pests such as cockroaches, mosquitoes, flies, Rolly Pollys (pill bugs), June bugs, small ants, and spiders, as well as occasional scorpions and small rodents. These are normal critters that come regardless of cleanliness or availability of food.
