Are you looking for a getaway where you can sit outside and relax
by the fire pit or in the hot tub and gaze at the night sky? Starview
is the perfect place for a romantic getaway for two or a couples
weekend away. There is a king sized bed downstairs and one
queen bed in the upstairs loft. Comfortable seating and a 50"
smart tv greet you in the cozy living room and a full kitchen is also
provided just in case you want to stay in and eat. Outdoors,
guests can fish, swim, and paddle board or kayak in the pond,
collect your own farm fresh organic eggs and feed the miniature
horses Bonnie and Clyde. Come and visit Starview, I promise you
will not want to leave!

Please Note: You are renting a cabin on a small family ranch. We
and our family live onsite and we also have 2 other cabin rentals.
And, while we are just a short drive to town, we are still in the Hill
Country which means you may encounter wildlife (Snakes, Deer,
Racoons, ETC) Please be aware of your surroundings, and take
caution while driving at night. You may also encounter various
bugs, spiders, scorpions and mice that live in the country AND
sometimes do make their way inside. All properties do utilize pest
control services on a regular basis BUT this does not guarantee
pests or bugs will not be visible.

Great stay!

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful experience. The cabin was perfect for the two of us. We really enjoyed seeing the animals on the property and the farm fresh eggs the owners gave us for breakfast! The hot tub was a great plus too. Not too far from everything either. I would love to return. I will note that if you are above 6 foot, the shower head is lower so keep that in mind.

Honeymoon Getaway

The tiny home was so relaxing and a perfect place for our honeymoon. It was so peaceful sitting out on the deck watching the sunset or enjoying the hot tub. We almost didn’t want to leave each morning we there.

HORRIBLE kept property!

This listing was falsely advertised! We showed up 5 hours from home, expecting to find a secluded country cabin! What we found was a cute cabin with an EXTREMELY TRASHY rv camper 20ft from the front door of the cabin…. Staring straight at the hot tub, my husband and I were looking forward to enjoying! This was not advertised at all in the property description or pictures shown on VRBO. Grass not mowed, run down sheds in view, just completely trashy! Although the cabin was extremely clean and absolutely cute….. the property was horrible! We were issued a full refund for the rental….. but that doesn’t compensate for the ruined getaway due to inaccurate description and pictures!

Absolutely amazing and friendly staff. Tons of things to do there on the property not to mention 10 minutes from downtown. Would definitely stay again and recommend!!

Cozy, quiet place in the country

Located just outside Fredericksburg, a short drive into town, was this cozy little, but comfortable cabin. The amenities were awesome and included all you would need for a comfortable stay away from home. The deck with table, chairs and jacuzzi was a very nice touch with a outdoor grill and fire pit as well. The kitchen had all the basics and was in good condition. The king bed was awesome, great size and the memory foam mattress was so comfortable. The bed linens were very nice too. The robes in the closet were a nice touch as were the farm fresh eggs. Only two negatives, the lack of blinds in the bedroom didn't give privacy and caused waking with the sun and the road is long and rutted (understandable since it's caliche and in the country but is worth a mention). When we had a small concern with the hot tub, the owner was quick to respond. We will definitely stay again.
