The Oaks On Main | Stunning Main St. Ritiro

Questo cottage di Main Street è situato in posizione comoda e privata, rendendolo la vacanza perfetta! Trovato dietro una grande casa di pietra calcarea su Main Street e circondato da una recinzione della privacy, questa piccola casa è protetta dal traffico di Main Street, ma facilmente raggiungibile da negozi e ristoranti. L'arredamento è francese Paese con un po 'eclettico gettato ed è davvero un posto divino e speciale per chiamare casa.

Un accogliente portico offre quattro sedie riposanti per visitare, leggere o avere un bicchiere di vino. All'interno è un salotto con divano in pelle e due eleganti sedie comode per godersi la televisione sul grande schermo. La cucina completamente attrezzata ha un tavolo da raccolto sei posti a sedere. Una luminosa cucina a vista ha un grande frigorifero, piano cottura elettrico / forno, microonde, macchina per il caffè e lavastoviglie.

Ci sono tre camere da letto e due bagni in questa casa eccezionale. Due delle camere da letto hanno letti queen size e entrambi sono sormontati da lenzuola di lusso e comforters. Le due camere da letto regina condividono un bagno nel corridoio con vasca / doccia e due lavandini di vanità. La terza camera da letto ha un letto matrimoniale / full size, ma ha il proprio bagno con una grande doccia in vetro. I letti, l'arte e l'arredamento sono straordinari e renderanno il vostro soggiorno più piacevole.

This place is very nice and just steps from all the shops. Quiet and Cozy and the 6 of us had plenty of room to move around. Located just off Mian street behind the main house. We took our kids and their friends for Christmas this year. Never been to see all the lights, well worth it. Full kitchen with all you need to cook with. We made breakfast but ate out most of the time. Mamacitas is a block away if that, and all other food, bars about a 4 minute walk away. We will stay here when we go back for sure. We Love Fredericksburg.

The air conditioning was not working properly and it was very warm when we checked in. The property manager was very helpful in solving the problem.The property and front porch was covered with leaves and droppings from the trees. On the second day of our stay a landscaper came and cleaned up but the porch was still dirty. The house was very nice and clean but needed some updating. General lighting was very dim.

5 night stay The Oaks on Main

Our 5-night stay had several issues that impacted our experience. Upon arrival Friday, the provided door code didn’t work, requiring a call to the office for a new one. We found bedding left in the dryer, no WiFi, and a disruptive noise—a loud thump and alarm every 5 minutes from a sump pump.Saturday, I contacted the office about the WiFi and noise. A maintenance person fixed the WiFi and called a plumber, who attempted to address the sump pump but didn’t resolve it. The noise persisted, and after returning at 8:45 PM, I contacted the office again. They sent someone late that evening to turn off the system, which stopped the noise.Sunday, the WiFi was down again, attributed to a storm. The office didn’t follow up, but a neighbor helped by contacting the owners to reset the router. Monday, plumbers returned in the morning, but the sump pump noise became continuous by afternoon. After another call, plumbers fixed it that day. Tuesday, the WiFi dropped again, requiring yet another router reset.While the office responded to issues, they were cold and not so friendly when addressing our concerns. Except for Peggy, thanks Peggy for the follow up call about the wifi on Saturday on your day off and the guys that came out were great too. the office ladies not so much. the recurring WiFi outages, sump pump noise, and initial oversights (door code, bedding) made the stay frustrating. The property and house was beautiful, comfy beds and a great location.

If you want Main St- stay here

This place was perfection for location to walking Main St. We had all the shopping, restaurants, and coffee/ sweets shops easily accessible to walk to. However, I would not recommend this to anyone in a wheelchair or unsteady ambulatory abilities since the path up was a patchy & unmaintained dirt mounds until you got to the streets. For us- it wasn’t a big deal at all. The house was lovely and cozy. Clean despite the keurig and one mug who I spoke to the owner about. They even had snacks and toiletries out for use. This house was very comfortable accommodating us 5 adults and had a great lounge area on porch and the living room. All directions and communication was clear and concise. :) would highly recommend!

Location is perfect!!

Great little cottage to spend a girls weekend getaway In Fredericksburg!! Perfect for our group of 5. Parking is limited and other tenants parked in front of our cottage blocking view and stairs accessibility (only complaint!)We would definitely stay here again.

Great weekend getaway

We took a quick trip after Thanksgiving to Fredricksburg and The Oaks on Main was the perfect location. We were able to take some wine tours during the day and walk all along Main in the afternoon/evenings. The location was perfect. The home was clean, stocked with the few things we needed in the kitchen and the beds were comfy. We can definitely see ourselves rebooking for future visits.

Great place to stay!

Great location, friendly and helpful owner, clean and comfortable. Plenty of space. Quiet even though right on Main Street. Lovely porch to sit and visit. Highly recommend. We will stay again!

Better than anticipated…

A terrific friend from high school & I met in Fredericksburg to reminisce about old memories & to make new ones. Although it was just the two of us, the home could easily accommodate 1 or 2 more without feeling cramped for space. The cottage was spacious, clean, nicely decorated, and equipped with everything needed to prepare a meal (but who would want to cook when there are quite a few restaurants in easy walking distance). Two things to note: (1) The location is several blocks from most of the Main Street attractions. That was no problem for my friend who is a walker, but was more difficult for me with a bad knee. (2) The two parking spots allocated to the cottage are conveniently close and the property gate provides extra security. However, it is a very tight space for turning the car around to drive out of the gate. The only other option is to back out onto a rather busy street. I have two suggestions for the owner: (1) Provide access to the gate code through a phone app, like the front door so getting out & in the car is not required. (2) Install a safety bar in the shower. None of the comments & suggestions would prevent me from renting it again on another visit to Fredericksburg. I still believe it is a 5-star property and highly recommend it.

Downtown Fredericksburg

We stayed here over the President’s holiday weekend. This location is great for accessing the main downtown area. The house was clean, and layed out nicely for our stay. The host communicated promptly and was easy to work with. I would stay here again.

The Oaks on Main

Very nice property. We enjoyed our stay. The gate made us feel secure, but was a bit of a hassle since we were there the first weekend in December when traffic was very heavy especially Friday (parade) night. Getting to the gate was a challenge and since we had three cars one had to park on the street. Noticed there were some stains on the bedroom carpets, not a problem just wanted managers to know we did not put them there. We had difficulty making the tv work for us.

Could not be closer to Main street.

Wonderful, modern, spotless, Pin quiet at night. literally 20 steps to the main street, shopping, meals, and fun. Three beds, perfect for a family. Morning coffee and evening wine on the porch. We will be back.

Girls Weekend

We had a family "girls" weekend to celebrate my niece who is heading back to school, to get her Masters. The place worked perfect for all 5 of us. It was very clean and felt like Home. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of room for all of us. It is very close to town, safe and we were able to walk into town, with no problems. We would definately go back to this home and stay again.

Great place and wonderful host

Beautiful property close to everything. We arrived to some tree branches in one of out parking spaces. No big deal. Move them a few feet and parking is clear. The wonderful hosts were so concerned that this was not cleaned up prior to our arrival that we returned from dinner to a nice bottle of Texas wine and a note apologizing for the "inconvenience". That is what being a great host is all about. We will be returning!!!!!!
