Beach View steps away from pedestrian beach!

"Second Wind" Come relax on the private deck of this ocean view home located less than 1 block from the pedestrian beach. Even during the busiest days of Surfside, this porch is one of the quietest and most peaceful spots on the island. Not only can you feel the ocean breeze from this deck, but you will hear the waves. Enjoy coffee and cocktails while watching surfers ride the waves.
If you enjoy fun dining and live music, we are just a few minutes from the favorite hangouts.
AMMENATIES: With a whole house filtration and reverse osmosis filtration system at the sink, there is no need to bring loads of water.
Feel free to use our supplied beach chairs, beach toys, beach towels, outdoor shower, and grill.
With Wi-Fi and smart TVs in all bedrooms and living, you can stream your shows or use our Xfinity service to get your local news and shows. We also have board games for family fun.
Plenty of cooking appliances, pots, pans, utensils, 12 cup coffee maker, crock pot, and dishwasher.
Washer and Dryer, linens, towels, detergent, all included.
We have covered parking for two cars and will allow for a total of four cars on the property.
SLEEPING: To sleep 6 people, the main bedroom has a king size bed, while the second and third bedroom have queen size beds.

We hope you will give the "Second Wind" a try because we are pretty sure you will feel like it's your second home, just like we do!

The house was nice and spacious, the furniture was very comfortable. The view of the Gulf from the deck is excellent. Check in was easy. Ben answered the phone whenever we needed. Will be happy to stay here again!

Best Family Vacay yet!

This house was so perfect for my family that we absolutely plan on trying to book this place for our vacation next year! Beds were so comfortable that I wanted to take master king bed home lol. Kitchen was completely stocked with anything you could ever need at the beach and more. The property manager, Ben, was amazing as well. Cannot wait to come back next year!!!

Great view

While my daughter got settled into her new apartment as she was moving to Houston to start her residency at Baylor, we stayed in this lovely beach house. It was perfect with a nicely appointed bedroom for each of us. It was also spotless, and before and after our moving-in tasks each day, this daughter-mom-grandmom team enjoyed the sea breeze while sitting out on the deck watching the tankers head into the inlet. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for coffee and a nice breakfast each day, and we heeded the host's advice to purchase ice at the mini-mart 2 minutes away. We also took the excellent advice to eat at the Red Snapper. We had the best meal of our stay at this low-key, casual place with top-notch fresh seafood. Highly recommend! We walked the 10 minutes along the seawall to reach the public swimming beach and then down the pier where we saw ships, dolphins, and a beautiful sunset. The beach area there is small, but friendly, safe, and not overcrowded, with lots of families playing and picknicking. It was probably just a few years since the other side of the seawall that is seen from the house had a small walkable/swimmable beach, but now that the water has risen, that beach is gone. The water comes up over the rocks and breaks over the wall. The view is still wonderful, and fishermen are not deterred by clambering right into the water from the rocks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying here again in future visits!

Weekend get away

This was a nice and quiet place to stay before Memorial Day, and the sounds of the surf were relaxing! Glad we didn’t have the crowds down in this area, and it was only a short drive up to the beach where we could enjoy being in the water. Loved sitting on the deck in the evening. The kitchen had all we needed to cook a meal, including grilling out. The AC worked well too! Enjoyed this house, we will make it a point to come back!

Comfortable and peaceful

Absolutely delightful! Furnishings were very comfortable. Location to the Gulf was a short walk and owners were available for needs we didn't even know we had! Great month at the beach.

No Beach Access-So Sad:(

There is no beach access at this beach house. There are stairs that you see in the picture at the end of the street that lead into rocks and water that is knee high or waist high depending on the tide. There is no beach to put the beach chairs, toys or canopy that you bring to put on the beach that is stated as steps from this home. Also, there were ants in the middle bedroom that my daughter woke up to crawling on her. Other than those two MAJOR drawbacks, it is a very nice home. The only saving grace with the Brazoria County beach that is about 4 or 5 miles down the road that we had to pack up the car and drive to. It is a very nice, clean beach that you can drive on. It saved the day! But very disappointed and disturbed at the wording of this listing.

Greatly enjoyed!

We loved the look of the house - super cute, fun space and very functional floor plan. Nicely equipped kitchen with clean, usable utensils. Highly recommend. And, Ben was a terrific host - 5 stars!!

Great stay in lovely home in great location

Had a great family stay here. Very nice, spacious home with a great view. Quiet neighborhood where you can clearly hear and see the waves from the deck. Property owner was great with communication and very accommodating in allowing us to bring our 2 beloved doggos, which made this a great vacation for the entire family. Look forward to visiting again. Highly recommend!

Excellent location and house

We had a fantastic stay at this beach house. The location and view were perfect. House was very clean and comfortable for our family. We loved all the included beach amenities. You seriously don’t need to pack anything as they have it all right there for you. We loaded up their beach wagon with chairs, canopy, and boogie boards and hit the beach each day that was just steps away. We would definitely choose to stay here again when coming back to Surfside.

Perfect Surfside Place

Enjoyed our stay so much. They had lots of beach accessories for us to use, surfboard, beach chairs, wagon etc… Filtered water was a plus! We will definitely will want to come back to this place!!! Our dog loved having his own bed also.

First time in Surfside, won't be the last!

We had a great time at this property! The location was perfect: only steps to the beach. The house was very clean, comfortable, and well furnished. Every detail was considered, from the cozy blankets for watching TV to the dog bed! Ben was a great host and very friendly and welcoming. This was a perfect vacation to celebrate a double family birthday. We had the beach to ourselves until the 4th of July crowd started to arrive a few days into our stay. This was a fun, relaxing getaway. The kids loved boogie boarding and learning to surf, all with equipment provided by the host. We can't wait to stay here again!

Perfect beach house!

The stay here was awesome! Perfect location just a quick block away from the beach with beach views. Also a quick 1-2 minute drive to most restaurants. Everything was super clean and tidy, they provided some snacks and board games and even had a dog bed in there for our furry friends. Highly recommend this house if you're looking for something cozy and close to the beach!

We all absolutely loved our stay. The house was so cute on the inside and was very clean. Despite the house being in the second row, we were stunned by the beautiful view of the beach! Great for sitting on the porch in the morning drinking our coffee. Overall, I would definitely stay here again!
