Una tradizione Surfside originale!

Originariamente situato sulla spiaggia pedonale "Gables", ospita vacanze in famiglia dal 1962. Dopo un temporale la famiglia ha trasferito la casa nella zona centrale della spiaggia alcuni anni fa e in quel momento ha deciso di aggiungere una camera da letto e un bagno in più al piano di sotto e ristrutturare la casa. "Gables" è una casa che tutti sull'isola conoscono e riconoscono. Di proprietà di una famiglia adorabile che lo ama e si diverte a sapere che significa così tanto per così tanti. Condividere la loro bella casa lo rende molto più speciale. * VITA - Goditi il viaggio e prendi il sole! *

"Gables" è una proprietà impressionante che è molto ben amata e curata. La proprietà è un bagno con 4 camere da letto / 2. 5 insieme a una grande area soppalcata con una zona parzialmente privata e un bagno.

Il soppalco ha zone notte separate che sono aperte ma semi-private allo stesso tempo. Per l'intrattenimento c'è una zona TV con comode sedie e sacchi di fagioli. Questa è un'area eccellente per bambini e ragazzi, una famiglia o più famiglie.

Le 4 camere da letto al piano principale hanno ciascuna un letto king size o un letto queen size. Splendidamente situato nella zona di Middle Beach di Surfside Beach. Il cortile intorno al Gables è perfetto per l'intrattenimento, i bambini che giocano, il barbecue, ecc ... e l'accesso all'acqua è così facile, a pochi passi dall'erba alla sabbia. Tu, la tua famiglia e / o i tuoi amici lascerai questa casa sperando che tu possa rimanere più a lungo. Adventure

While this house did not work out for our trip, we had an awesome experience with Denise. She went above and beyond at 3am to get us into a house that was best for our trip. Denise deserves an award for her wiliness and kindness to us. There were 15 of us total, included 2 babies and 3 kids under 5. She was our vacation saver, and we will forever be grateful to her!! Denise you rock! Thank you

Long in the tooth

Property is a little long in the tooth for a repeat stay... the oven knob numbers were faded off, makes for a hard time cooking ... and the dishwasher was not attached to the counter, it kept falling forwards when loading and the internet is not hooked up to the TV’s.....that kinds sums it up

2022 Vacation

I’ve stayed at The Gables several times before with my parents and family. My Mom passed away last February so it was bittersweet for me. She loved the beach and having all her family there. Great location and loved the new additions. The front of the house didn’t cool as well but that is expected in this heat! We did get a call the day before we left saying someone said we had a dog with us. No animals with us, just our kiddos. We enjoyed our stay!

Great Vacation with a few challenges

The location of the property is great. It’s right on the beach and easy access. The kitchen dishes and utensils options were the best I have seen at any vrbo I have stayed at. The beds are comfortable and the linens were nice. We loved the house and location, the problem was the very dirty shower curtains, the food chunks and dirt under the trash can and in the kitchen drawers, the spots and stains on the carpet and the large amount of sugar ants that ended up getting into and eating some of our food. The shower curtains were so bad we just bought new ones at Walmart and changed them all out ourselves. We killed as many of the ants as we could but I have had them In other rentals at the beach and I think it just goes with the territory. We were kind of panicked when we arrived and the house was over 80 degrees but I was able to feel the air coming out was cold it was just that it had been turned off between renters and in the middle of summer took all day and night to cool the house off. By the next morning it was fine and the house was cooled down and pleasant. Overall a great stay and we would stay with them again.

Spring Break Late March

Overall a fine place to stay. We had 14 and we were not cramped at all. Pictures are a little outdated as the house has seen some wear and tear. Location is great with the beach just steps away. Checkout process was a little tedious as you had to do quite a bit more than the normal clean up which is weird because you are charged a cleaning fee. Overall though a decent place to stay if you have a large group for the price.

Great Stay

This was the perfect house for our group of 13. We loved the location, the house was perfect with lots of room, and the neighbors were very nice. The only complaints we had are the mosquito (take bug spray) and the stove needs updated (one of the burners didn't work and you can't read the numbers on the oven dial). The beds are so comfy and the deck is perfect. Would love to see more lighting on the lower deck. We will definitely be back.

The location and access to the beach were great. The house had everything we needed with plenty of beds, seating to hang out and a great view of the beach. It could use a few updates including a new stove but I would definitely stay there again. It cost extra to have the beds made for our arrival, which I thought was odd, but maybe that's a standard expense in this area.
