Guest house a French River

“We really appreciated the location, being right on the French River, the use of the kayaks, canoes, the view, etc. What could really use improvement, though, and would have us going back, is the bathroom ceiling was in dire need of cleaning and painting, otherwise nothing to complain about the room. Sure, it's dated, but we enjoyed that rustic look.”

“We travelled with guests from Germany who were interested in seeing the Canadian landscape. They were thrilled with the beautiful views of the river and the woods and the silence. The bedrooms and the bathroom are spacious. The kitchen was a little snug for 4 at the table but it was okay. Everything we needed for preparing and serving meals was available. May was a lovely time to be there, cold, but few bugs, and lots of beautiful wildflowers and birds. I'd love to come back in Fall.”

“This is a nicely renovated old style no frills motel with basic amenities. It was a comfortable night's sleep as we were passing through on our way home.”

“Great place to stay while on the road. Comfortable beds, nice hot shower and window AC worked great. If you’re hungry when you arrive, stay away from Kelsey’s down the road. Trust me.”

“Did not like this place at all. Found gobs of hair at the bottom of the inside of the fridge. So same cloth to wipe the floor and fridge. The guy came to look at it and gave us $50.00 back but would never stay again.”

“The motel is older but it is also inexpensive for cottage country. There is a Restaurant in walking distance from the motal that is handy.”

“Easy access to hwy. Continental breakfast offered a variety of options available between 9 am and 10. Clean room.”

“We found the cabin very cozy and clean. We were only passing by for the night, but the cabin was perfect for are time and a beautiful sitting. ”
