“Lovely breakfast staff could not have been more attentive or kind”

“Clean rooms with everything you would expect in most hotels. Complimentary water in the room was welcomed especially as we stayed when temperatures were higher. Only upgrade that would be helpful is air-conditioning although we were lucky we had a cross draught with the window and balcony doors which helped hugely. “The hotel is an attractive building set in extensive grounds, with an interesting woodland walk. The staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. However, there were a few areas where the guest experience could be improved. It took us quite a while to find our room because the receptionist did not give us complete directions, and the signage did not direct guests to the second lift. Later on wemet two other guests who were also lost in the same area, and we helped them find...
